My date and I were looking for a restaurant with vegan options. We saw that they served cauliflower steak and a few other sides that we could eat here so we made a reservation. Seating was prompt but there was a lot of lying, miscommunication, and withholding of information. We ordered the cauliflower steak, 2 margaritas, and four sides. The chef personally came to the table and stated that he was going to add things to our dish to really make it great. We only received one side and two plates of sautéed mixed vegetables. The waitress said that the chef said we didn’t want our other 3 sides. Then she said they were out of them after speaking again with the chef. Was confusing because she would ask if we still wanted it as if it was available. Then the waitress said they didn’t have cauliflower steak and asked if that is what we wanted. Clearly, the chef didn’t have them and lied or didn’t know how to cook them. I talked this place up but this visit was a horrible experience. They need to get staff that tells people the truth instead of saying whatever and hoping people accept. We discussed it, paid the tab, and decided that we would find another place to eat.

My husband and I popped by for an early weekend breakfast and were greeted quickly and kindly by staff. They provided us with recommendations for food as it was our first time visiting. We selected the salmon Benedict and a veggie omelet both of which were phenomenal and very fresh tasting. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The environment is calm, clean and modern. Highly recommend!

Establishment is very clean and well set. Service was good but a little slow. My Belgian waffle was delicious, and I would highly recommend getting one. However, the bacon was extremely overcooked and deeply disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed my experience.

The wings were delicious along withh the short rib. It Was better than I thought after reading reviews. Food was very flavorful. I had a party of 20 so a wait time for food was to be expected.

Nice atmosphere and good food. I tried the medium rare ostrich with greens and mac & cheese the ostrich tasted like a standard grade steak. The greens and mac & cheese were pretty tasty.

We really enjoyed ourselves here. Food was delicious and quite filling. We were worried about the prices as compared to serving sized but it’s filling. It’s a great grown folk vibe, has a dress code and the food was amazing!

Dinner was delicious I had the kangaroo with grits and string beans. The portion of meat was rather small, but it was good. My girlfriend had the Cornish hen with greens and Mac n cheese! The collaed greens were surprisingly good!

I made reservations here for my birthday and received subpar service and low quality food. It started bad with them letting me know they had overbooked for the night and had to sit my large party in the bar/hotel lobby area (right outside the entrance). They assured me we would still be well taken care of. However, my worries were right as our table was forgotten about continuously throughout the night. Leading to food being sent back, cold fold, drinks not received, and a horrendous wait time. By the end of our dinner no one had touched their food. The food was bland and some cases inedible. Also way too overpriced! I took a picture of our table when the checks came and it looked like our food had just came out. This was a terrible experience and I do not plan on going back.

We stayed the weekend after getting married, from the time we booked everyone was amazing Shantel hooked us up with a beautiful room with a view of the river, when we got there we where check in by Nyala and vertez they were so sweet and professional. We had reservations at 630 at salt and marrow, we first stopped at the bar for a drink everyone there was great, we were great at the door at 630 by a sweet young lady didn’t get her name, also the manager Hope meet us at the dome outside to welcome us, and let us know the chefs recommendation on some of the foods on the menu. She was amazing!!! Liz was our waitress for the evening. She said she had only been there 2 weeks but she was awesome. She knew where the seafood came from about the seafood, what was good very attentive to our needs and sweet, as can be. Hope was amazing she meet us again at our table to thank us for coming in. We will definitely be back

Cornish hen…small, dried out. Looked like a big raisin. Mashed potatoes looked and taste it like it had been under hot lamp for 2 hours. The collard greens were cold and overseasoned. The only thing good about this place was the service and the macaroni and cheese. I would highly highly recommend not going here and wasting time or money. Here’s an example: we ordered the scallops as an appetizer and it’s supposed to be three scallops for $20. What we got as a couple to share was one scallop for $20. When I pointed it out the server apologized but nothing was ever remedied. Again though the service was good, you can’t blame good service for bad management, bad cooking and bad ambiance. Plus the smell of the restaurant is off-putting. It smells fishier than a fish market.
