Aaron & Emma deserve more than 5 stars! The experience at the salt was absolutely incredible, their expertise on fine dining and cocktails is above par. If I could recommend an experience in St. johnsbury it is with these dynamic dual.

Overpriced and overcharged from the price on menu. No working AC so we went outside. We were served and then told, they were out of a major part of our meal. No apologies and overcharged. A better restaurant would have let the customer know before putting in the order. The food is not worth the prices. Do not recommend and will not go back. What a waste of money on a place we thought would be amazing.

The guys in the kitchen are making miracles happen given the staff they have in the front of the house. Our server was kind of rude, super slow, and worst of all he let our food sit on the pass for a good 10 minutes as the chef repeatedly rang the bell in the hopes someone on the staff would do their job. For context our server had a total of two tables at that point, including our table, and was no where near busy. To this point it was a pretty lousy experience because of the service and then came the moment that motivated me to write this review. We watched as one of the servers took steak tips off of one plate with his bear hands and placed them on someones salad only moments after rubbing his beard and handling cash. Could not believe our eyes. To top it all off the place is over priced, worst $141 we’ve ever spent on dinner for two.

We are so grateful for AJ and especially Aaron for being able to take our group of 22 with less than two hours notice. Another restaurant in town basically cancelled on us after multiple confirmations of a reservation. Salt saved the day for our family celebration. The food was great as was the service. Salt is our new go to when in town. Period.
