Me and the family went to Salsas last night and the food was off the chain probably the best restaurant Mexican food I’ve ever had! I had the Pollo Santa Fe and the wife had the Diablo shrimp and my son had a quesadilla. The service was absolutely amazing the server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled and salsa and chips on the table. I live 13 miles from the place on the south end of Saint Augustine and I will definitely drive past all the other restaurants to eat here again! Thank you Salsas servers, management, and kitchen staff for the best experience I’ve ever had. See you soon!

We just moved to town, and this place is special. I loved everything from the moment we walked in the way we were seated to how fast our drinks came out. They made sure we had everything we wanted before we even asked the team the was great, the food was great and we will be back again sooner than later!!

Salsa’s is one of those awesome Mexican restaurants that are in the St Augustine area that we love. We’ve eaten there several times and have been extremely satisfied every time. The food is fantastic and the service is great and the atmosphere is as you would expect. We feel very lucky to have this Salsa’s so close to us and we will be regular customers of this wonderful place.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in years. First our drink order was wrong and the drinks so strong they tasted horrible. Next the food came out. The taco meat was rotten and my fajitas were ALL ONION! We talked to the manager twice and he gave us a 10% discount and said he didn’t care if we didn’t come back. No worries I won’t waste another penny in a restaurant where the owner is taking more concerned with taking shots with patrons and getting drunk vs serving quality food to customers

We usually have a great time here. Tonight the hostess seated the 4 of us at a table with 2 sets of silverware and 2 menus?? We kept having to ask for things, like more chips and salsa, more water, to go cups and to go dishes for left overs, food was still as good as ever, but service was lacking.

Absolutely terrible….my husband has the most simple order on earth (beef enchiladas no cheese side of rice) and they mess it up more than half of the time. Attempted twice to get the correct order and then the 3rd time they gave him soggy enchiladas with what tasted like spicy spaghetti sauce….I attempted to call and calmly ask why this seems to happen over and over …the person on the other end heard me just fine until he realized it was a complaint and that I was not happy….then all I received was “ehhh hallo? Ehhhh hallo?” Needless to say we’re done trying for a decent meal at old salsas. Pictured is what he received for $12.25– didn’t even get his rice! Also, their fountain sodas (despite what the menu says online) are $4.75….ridiculous.

Very nice place and they really went for broke on making the interior amazing. Beautiful murals and hand-carved wood artwork everywhere on the backs of seats and booths. Worth a visit just for that. Food is great. Prices are okay. I’m very glad they are there!

What a delightful first time experience at the Palencia Salsas! We were there mid-Friday afternoon, so, not busy. Husband ordered the Chimichanga w/Shrimp and oh my gosh! He couldn’t stop raving about it! He LOVED the salad, the refried beans and rice and we couldn’t believe how much shrimp (BIG pieces) were in the chimi!! I ordered the crazy big Burrito Loco with shredded pork! It was deee-lish … and part of it is in the fridge for dinner! We both loved the atmosphere, decor and music. Gave 4 stars for service ONLY because we had to flag down a server to get our bill. Otherwise, the service was excellent! We will definitely be back!!!
