The pizza here is unlike any you have tasted yet… it could be a global phenomenon with how incredibe it is! The staff is friendly, they have a HUGE selection of beer and spirits available! The menu includes a multitude of mouthwatering dishes! The atmosphere will also bedazzle you due to the fact that there are lovely Italian paintings adorning the walls and beautiful hand-painted dishes on display (almost as if Picasso himself painted them). STOP IN FOR YOURSELF GET TAKE-OUT, OR DINE-IN & ENJOY WHAT IS REALLY A MAGNIFICENT ALLENTOWN STAPLE!

Such a great stop in the Allentown area! We loved the great traditional pizza!! We tried a few different options already prepared that were quickly heated in the oven. We appreciated the free soda refills. Definitely worth trying if passing nearby!

Pizza was mediocre. The crust was too hard and overall, pizza was tasteless. Having lived in San Francisco, it would be unfair to compare a place with far better food and better chefs. Anyway, I would never return. I wish people would be honest in their reviews. Anyone who has had really good pizza outside of the Lehigh Valley would never say this pizza is good. I feel sorry for those who live in this area and settle for mediocre food. San Francisco has mediocre places, but there are plenty of great restaurants with highly trained chefs. See for yourself.

DO NOT EAT HERE EVER!! Prices online do not match what you are charged. $23 for a 12″ pizza!! $23!?! I could have ordered 2 – 3 pizzas for that price! Food is average at best!! YOU WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS SOON!!! Good luck selling at those prices!! NEVER EVER will eat here again and will do everything I can to let others know to not here either!!

Normally if I arrive at a place and they’re closing in the next hour I’ll move on. I had my disabled mother with us and it was raining pretty hard but we still needed to get some food in her. ALL the guys at Sal’s were accommodating, and friendly. I appreciate them.

Sal’s is a favorite in our house. I am newly diagnosed with celiac disease and have challenges on pizza night. I have just been eating salads, but tonight I noticed the gluten free pizza. It was not as good as a normal pizza, the edges were hard and the middle was very soft, but it tasted pretty good. You can see it had a baking tray and even came with a gluten free pizza cutter.

I was told I was fing inconsiderate by the owner. Trying to get just slices to take home did not even want them heated..it was before 8 ..so he was really telling me he would rather throw it out

The fact that this small salad was $9.00 is pretty ridiculous. Make sure next time a customer orders this to at least give them more on the green or yellow side of the lettuce instead of the end of the bulb of the lettuce.
