I really want to give this place five stars. But the day we came it took so long to even get some of food. We ended up not ordering more things because we didn’t have another hour to wait for the food. The vibe of the place is super cool! The chef is amazing, and the food was incredible. The flavors were totally on point! The fish was super fresh. And the presentation was great. Just one thing they need to work on is a little bit more efficiency getting the food out. I’m just now coming back here and giving them another try very soon!

A serious gem! Randomly found when looking for sushi restaurants near our hotel in El Segundo. Such a friendly and helpful staff. Couldn’t have asked for anything better service. The food was superb! We tried several things on the menu – all prepared so well, it left me wanting more. I highly recommend the jalapeño bombs. Filled with crab and cheese – they are a must have! The restaurant is located in a shopping center and slightly hidden from the street. But once you enter the center, you will see it in the corner. Will definitely be back. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

The sushi was so fresh and the rolls were unique and delicious. The sake selection was impressive and the service was excellent. It is an unexpected gem in a little strip mall. We will be back with friends.

I thought I didn’t like rainbow rolls until I came to Saloon Osaka; theirs was absolutely incredible. Keith is a fantastic chef and was very friendly. All of the dishes served were excellent and they had asahi that was imported from Japan which is very uncommon and super luxurious. Thank you so much Keith + staff! We will be back soon!

A hidden gem near the airport!! Sashimi plate has good portions and is fresh, great variety too. Sides like tempuras and karaages are all crispy and freshly fried. Our favorite was miso-baked yellow fish — literally melts in your mouth! Would definitely recommend.

Keith (owner?) was INCREDIBLY NICE to my friends and I. We came in near closing but he served us anyway. Food was great but oh man I cannot say enough about how fantastic the staff was. 6/5 customer service

This is a hidden gem nestled in El Segundo. The atmosphere was very inviting and the food was delicious! I ordered a Toro handroll and man, the albacore was so buttery. The yellowtail collar and the variety of imported beer was good too. The owner allowed us to sing karaoke even when it wasn’t karaoke night! So fun! I’m definitely coming back to try more things from the menu.
