This is our neighborhood local Monday bar! Simple bar, simple food, no fuss or frills, and live music. This place has an old/curated feel. Wood bar tops and bar shelves. Live music every week blues, jazz, etc. Come for a beer after work, or if you want to come feel like a local.

When I got there, there were a lot of people sitting at the bar but barely anyone sitting at the tables so I asked the bartender (who seemed to be the only one working at the time) if I should sit anywhere or someplace specific… he said anywhere. I sat at a table in the middle of the place and waited for him to come over and waited and waited. Most of the people sitting at the bar left and new people came in and he waited on them but never approached me (sitting at a table all alone in the middle of the place). Finally he brought menus to a table near me and he was close enough that I was able to ask if I could finally get a menu after sitting there for close to half an hour. He then claimed he thought I was part of a larger group that had been there earlier. Really? I talked to him when I got there confirming there weren’t any assigned seating and was sitting there by myself the entire time. The steak tips were ok but not spectacular, the sides were fairly bland. He seemed very friendly to everyone else in the bar but made me feel invisible.

Music was good. Food ok but condiments containers were filthy dirty from greasy hands. Catchup bottles had dried up residue all over them. Cringe worthy. Drinks are short pours. Beer selection is good.
