Salerno’s Pizza is a neighborhood gem. Cozy corner pizza parlor that fills up quickly at dinnertime. Grab a high top near the bar for the nest seats in the house. Visited on a Monday and had 1/2 off pizza and a bucket of Miller for $10. The deal, staff and pizza is a no brainer. Started was a chopped salad with Ranch along with a fresh baked loaf with butter… No olive oil to be found, but lots of parmesan. Tried the Salerno’s sampler and was not disappointed by the shareable size. Sampler comes with a Chicken Parm, Meatball, 1/2 Italian sausage, Ravioli, sauteed mushrooms all swimming in the tomato gravy. Take away the gravy and the Parm needs seasoning, the meatball a bit more garlic and the ravioli a touch of salt. However, dunk the garlic bread and you’re in for a real treat. Produce was fresh, pizza crust a good crunch and the sausage and pepperoni burnt in the oven to perfection… I say deliciously burnt due to the crisped meat edges. The restaurant is very clean and bar staff well organized. Suzy had our backs and table the moment we steeped into the bar area. Only mistake made was not leaving room for desert… next time the Tiramisu is mine.

The hostess is very nice and took us to our seats quickly. Our order was taken quickly and bought to the table pretty fast. I had the fried chicken, nothing that special,it tasted fried but that’s about it. Not much flavor with lack of seasoning would have made the chicken better. Small salad with just lettuce no toppings. The chicken France not sure if I spelled it right but that did have some good flavors to it. The payed was pretty good. The prices are a bit high for me but a nice place for date night.

Food is always good at this place. No matter what I’ve had, it’s always great. Love the bread right as we sit down with the oil and the cheese yum!! We has margaritas and man they packed a punch that night!! Lol I hadn’t seen that bar tender but I so appreciate her! Then the main dish…. so freaking good. My go to is the gnocchi with vodka sauce and chicken. I usually ask for the full order which is the big bowl because then I can take the other half for lunch the next day. it comes with soup or salad (served while they prepare the main dish) I love the salad with a raspberry vinaigrette, so good. We didn’t get dessert this time but now that I’m typing this I wish I had some of their tiramisu the cannolis are really good to and don’t even get me started on their gelato…. I’m making myself hungry all over again. If you don’t know, find out!!

Wow! Massive bowls of pasta, delicious pizza. You really can’t go wrong. FYI, Monday is half priced pizza day, BUT the pizza is discounted, while the toppings are full priced. Wasn’t a huge deal but would have been nice to know previous to ordering, rather than the price shock of the bill. Definitely will return.

The “mozzarella” sticks are pricey and clearly not mozzarella. Maybe provolone? The minestrone soup is a little greasy. The pasta servings are huge but, once again a little pricey. There is NO lunch menu for the restaurant. It’s all one price all the time. The creamy garlic salad dressing is junky deliciousness. The marinara and meat sauces are fantastic. Although the service is fantastic (the staff rocks) I recommend picking up a quart of sauce and taking it home to eat.

First time here based on a local recommendation. Started with the bread dipped in olive oil and parmesan, great! The Chicken rice soup was good as well. I had the Gnocchi in Vodka sauce, which I absolutely loved. Heads up the serving sizes are massive. I can get a good 3 serving from my meal.
