This is a nice family pizza shop. They’re always friendly and the pizza is pretty good. They even grow basil so you can ask for fresh basil on your pizza.

Had ordered a cheese steak platter and received something that looks like my 3 year old put together. Not even close to what I ordered. After I told the guy I did not order this he just handed me my money back. Did not offer to remake it or anything. Will not come back, go next door they have great food! 🙂

Looking for a new pizzeria for quite some time now in the Plainfield area that can compete with other ones where I use to live in Edison, this pizzeria can definitely compete with those. So glad I found this place and just a few minutes down the street from my new home. A must. Only thing is that they dont deliver so 1 star less for that but if they did definitely 5 stars. Pizza is delicious.

Ordered a large plain pie. Pizza dough tastes sweet. Perhaps a little more sauce will transform the flavor. A little too doughy. Reasonably priced. Great customer service for a pizza joint.

Salerno’s pizza has been around for a very long time and their recipes are delicious. The chicken parmigiana sub is my all time favorite. The family are friendly and kind people who make some great Italian dishes. I remember when the strip mall where they are located in had a terrible gas accident and all the stores and restaurants were destroyed including Salerno’s. I saw the family truly in despair when I looked at the tragic disaster that had taken their restaurant. But the salernos rebuilt and reopened their doors to serve their delicious foods once again.

Consistently good pizza. No frills but tasty. Whenever I’m nearby I get a pie or slice. Dinners and sandwiches are well made. Good portions. Good service.
