I have driven past this place a hundred times and I finally stopped in. It was totally worth it! The owners have been here for over 40 years with their perfected New Mexican recipes. We got the super burrito and chile verde enchilada plate. The rice and beans have good flavor, the verde had the right amount of spice and the prices are fair. If you have ever thought about stopping in, do it! This family business needs some love.

This is a mom and pop place and the food is light unlike La Frontera. You can taste the wholesome goodness that has been handed down for generations. YUMMY!

Against my better instincts I ate at this place… Save yourself: Don’t. Food is vintage elementary school cafeteria Mexican food. Not horrible, but definitely not really good. The owners are nice but you’re there to eat, not talk to them. Used the restroom: mistake. Worse than a bad gas station restroom… The restaurant atmosphere/cleanliness isn’t on the high side. If you’re desperate, eat here. If you have a choice don’t. Honestly do Taco Bell instead… I hate to say that because it’s an elderly couple that runs it but it isn’t good. Sorry.

Hey, I’m a Salazar – this place is called Salazar’s! Cool, right? Um, this place was an absolute dump. The floors had a layer of filth and it looked like the dining area was being used for random junk storage. But the food must be great, right? Meh. I paid $37 for a bland enchilada plate, chips & Pace salsa and a bottle of water (because, guess what, they don’t serve free water or chips/salsa). I’m stumped as to how this place is in business.

This place is absolutely amazing! My friends and I love coming here. Great location for those who live/work nearby, high-quality food, and the owners are wonderful! There is a reason this place has been around 41 years. Support local business and eat at Salazar’s, 10/10 would recommend!

Dont expect the most fancy place or the best service ever , but the food , which is TexMex , not real Mexican , is why I come here for.

The food here is amazing! You get a lot of food for the price, the dining area is adorable and they’re fairly quick to bring out meals considering it’s just two people on staff. The huevos rancheros are a must try, so good!

Very friendly staff. I had a chicken enchilada and beans. Both were great. Ida asked me if it was my first time here and gave me free chips and salsa (which is free at some places anyway but the homemade salsa is worth paying for). Highly recommend.

Pretty good carne asada burrito I had and decently priced. It’s authentic and mom and pop owned small restaurant. With covid it’s outdoors only. But I’d go back and order again.

I won’t go here again and I don’t recommend it to anyone. The food is not good and it looks like a messy storage unit inside. I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff/owners by eating at their restaurant. I was also made to feel guilty for using a debit card to pay for my food instead of cash. Beto’s is a step up from this place.
