My family and I were in the mood for Thai food, and I decided on Sala. Sala was located 5 minutes away from our hotel in Bethesda. We kept it simple and ordered a few dishes from the menu, and it was prepared within 15 mins. We ordered 3 different styles of fried rice with chicken, dumplings, and spring rolls. The food was delicious! It was fresh, spicy, just the way I like it. We all enjoyed it and recommend it if you are in the area.

Absolutely delicious and 10/10 all around. The customer service was excellent and upon arrival, we were greeted and seated immediately with a smile. The food was flavorful and had am amazing aroma. The menu had a wide variety of options from vegetarian options, protein options, noodle options, appetizers, entrees, drinks / beverages, and desserts. The servers were attentive and presented quick service. The restaurant was spacious and was very cleanly. I ordered the Kee Mao J ( one of the vegetarian options) and my friend ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken. Both entrees were full of flavor, spices, and the perfect vegetable to noodle to protein ratio. For dessert, we ordered the Sweet Sticky Rice with Coconut Cream and Mango. It was creamy and the perfect size for sharing. The mangos were so fresh. Everything was BEYOND exceptional and above my expectations. Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. I will definitely be coming here again in the near future. I have attached pictures of the food below.

What an amazing lunch with my friend Sama! The lunch menu is flexible with a choice of Al a cart or you can order a combo. The staff were attentive and helpful. The space is open and airy. There’s no outside seating.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and it was okay. The shrimp roll was good but the Pad Thai was OK. It was little dry too. The curry was OK as well. The duck was good. Our server was quite busy so we had to wait and ask other servers few times for other things. Other than that, we didn’t have any issues. I would still try this restaurant again to try out different items.

Stopped in for an early dinner and I’m so happy that I did. The service was quick. The food was delivered fresh, hot and full of spices and flavor. I had the Thai Chicken Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. I would highly recommend.

Best to call ahead for this location. It took them about 12 minutes to actually acknowledge I was there even though I was standing at the bar. The waiter told me there was a 30 minute wait to receive my order which was understandable as it was 7:19PM. What I was not expecting was to watch multiple people, dining in and ordering take out, leave with larger orders than mine. I didn’t receive my order until 8:21 with barely even a mention.

Upon entering the front door, the staff was ready to greet us – all three of them in the front were gracious. The calamari appetizer was serviced with a light panko dusting and a mild sweet vinegary fish sauce. A perfect blend. The fried red snapper went well with the ginger sauce. Dessert was fried banana and coconut ice cream, a delectable Thai treat.

The location is convenient and with good view for people watching. The evening when we were there they had people playing Jazz plus the four star review made us want to give it a try. However we were quite disappointed with the food and extremely slow service. I had a duck soup, it was 50% soy sauce and not a soup! My husband had drunken noodles, the beef was tough and leathery and the noodles were oily and overcooked. It was a big sheet of rice noodle! Not sure who the cook is – I suspect it is Thai food reimagined with soy sauce and minced garlic. Overall maybe 2.5 stars.

Ordered the Pad Thai. This was the dryest noodle dish I have ever had. 10/10 do not recommend.
