This was such a great place! All the fish was so fresh and clean tasting. The sashimi was very generous portions. The yellowtail was the best I have ever had. The tempura had the perfect light batter. The music was light and soothing. The atmosphere was relaxed. We will be back!!

Sat at the Sushi bar. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Sushi and Sashimi was beautiful, cold and delicious. Really enjoyed the experience. The complementary salad was fried salmon skins – so good.

SUSHI TIME! Pretty good. The hibachi experience was a little junior. Super nice guy but very junior in his skills. Sushi is good. Great menu. Large rolls. Would recommend you stop by and enjoy a meal here.

Great place. The colorful roll made an impression on my son. He said it was great and tasty. I had the tempura chicken. Was good it was served with tempura Daikin, that was delicious

This is the best sushi in Meridian. In Boise, I also recommend Yoi Tomo. (We’ve been to many others including Rotary, Shogun, Sakana, Paddles Up, Fujiyama, and Shige.)

As sushi restaurants go, Sakura is one of the best options around. On the pricier end just like most sushi places, but there are still lots of great options for a decent price. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food is always good, although sometimes too salty (particularly the miso soup, which also doesn’t have enough tofu). Atmosphere is very nice but the bathrooms aren’t the best and the music choice is slightly unpredictable.
