I am a regular at this restaurant, frequenting it at least once a week. The Hibachi is great for dining with the family or a group of friends. The cooks put on a good show and the food is excellent. The sushi is the best I’ve ever had. Their Itamae (sushi chef) is a master at his work. I almost died when he went on vacation for a month and they hired a temp-that’s how good he is. They have been doing quite a bit of renovating in the last few months, bringing quite a bit of improvement to the atmosphere. The service is great and I’ve only had problem’s with them once. It was a night they were packed and understaffed, so it was completely understandable. Prices vary depending on what you want. Hibachi meals will run from $15 to $20. Sushi prices vary like any other sushi-serving restaurant, but are relatively affordable. Ordering from the kitchen, I have been able to fill my stomach on a $10 budget The most expensive item on the menu is the $100 “Sushi Festival for Four,” which as the name suggests is for 4 people, working out to $25 each. Slightly above average prices for an awesome dining experience ^_^

Sakuras is amazing. Whoever wrote those bad reviews are out of their minds. Sakuras is locally owned, has the freshest sashimi I’ve tasted ( and I do sushi evvverywhere I go so I’d say best in the eastern US) and they have awesome original rolls. Their spicy crab and their octopus salad are both out of this world. Their salad dressing is so good they now sell it after so many requests. Chain restaurants aren’t even on the same level. Can not say enough about this wonderful place. The owner goes above and beyond if there is a mistake made. The hibachi chefs are hilarious and the sushi chefs can do pretty much anything short of turning water to wine lol. I have been going for around 7 years. Going tonight as a matter of fact 🙂

The price was not bad and the rolls werent small but the sushi wasnt great. The sushi was pretty bland and wasn’t fresh. We got carryout so we didn’t deal with the service people, though we asked for extra soy sauce and didn’t get it. If youve had good sushi I would not recommend this place.
