We took Mom here for her 89th Birthday at her request. This is basically the typical Japanese Steakhouse. I’ve been to a few others and have had better tasting hibachi, however this specific location hands down has THE BEST Hibachi chef. TONY was phenomenal. He engaged with each and every one of us (12) for the entire meal/service. He is very funny, quick witted and real. We had some great conversations with him about family and life in genera as he got to know us all a little while he prepared our food. He is head and shoulders above anyone else that I saw that day cooking. One chef was basically quiet the entire time he was cooking other than the standard “show” that they all put on. Let me put it this way, I’d go back to this spot just to see Tony. I have a feeling he has many refund customers. I had a little sushi as well prior to our mean and that was great. I wish I could give half stars because my food rating would be 3.5. Good but not great. The rest of the service staff was great as well. The overall experience was good. Service excellent and Mom was very happy and full! Go see Tony!!

I want to give a personal shoutout to the lady working the tables around the Sushi bar. Every time we’ve went, she’s always treated us well and is always running around to each table checking on them. We’ve somewhat become regulars at this particular restaurant, and by now she knows exactly what we want each time. Such a sweetheart, and we wish her the very best!

The food and the experience was great, it was a good time for the kids. Good portions and the entertainment was good. The sushi could have been better in my opinion but that’s not what why we came lol. We got tried to call and make a reservation and the phone line was busy so we came in at 6:30 and we’re able to get a table within about 15 mins thankfully because the entire restaurant was full. Orders a Cosmo, two Steak and chicken combos two kids steak meals and 4 rolls of sushi. Spicy California roll, shrimp tempura roll, spicy yellowtail roll and a Philly roll.

I have been going to the location they have in tysons for the past 5 years, and recently moved to fairfax and although hesitant initially I decided to give this location a try. I requested to get the best chef they have to entertain us as I had guests from overseas and wanted to impress them. I will try to keep this as short as possible, we had an outstanding time and it was much better than any experience i have had at sakura before. Tony, our chef went above and beyond, cooked us an amazing feast, and kept us entertaining and laughing the whole hour we were there, until the very last minute. This has been one of my favorite if not my all time favorite dinner that i have ever had with my family. Thank you very much Tony for an unforgettable dinner, and i will be visiting you much more often now. Deserves 10 stars!!
