The sushi is on fire. We had two of the cooked rolls the Spider, and Rangoon roll, splendid. Also ordered two different types of ramen they were fantastic, The fresh ingredients and meat come in a bowl and the broth comes separate it’s nice to see the veggies so fresh. People are super nice and the restaurant was clean.

When this place first opened years ago it was fantastic! It was fun, the food and sushi were amazing and we always had an enjoyable experience. Over the past few years everything has gone down hill. It is very dirty, the staff have had fights in front of us and we always feel rushed. The last time I went, I wanted to just have sushi with my son. The restaurant was smoked out. I asked if we could sit on the side that wasn’t smoky and was told this is how a hibachi restaurant is. I’ve never had that experience so we chose to get it to go. It’s so sad because it really has so much potential and because it’s the only Japanese restaurant around here I feel like people have no choice to to come here. For the price you pay, the service is awful. Expensive steakhouse prices with better service at McDonalds. I wish you guys would read the one star reviews. They all say the same thing. Such a shame.

Wish I could give a negative 100 stars rating!!! We came here for our anniversary dinner. Searched online, looked at reviews and the menu…it all LOOKED amazing, but NO! Let’s start with the atmosphere: dirty, and not all all Japanese looking. Restrooms were filthy, and the staff didn’t really care what they looked like. I totally felt like we were just sitting at a bar drinking a beer…not sitting at an expensive restaurant! The food: EEEEEW! Starting out, the onion soup was like sink water. The salad had a bunch of black, rotten pieces in it. And the “shrimp appetizer” was literally 3 pieces of shrimp thrown in with the WAY overpriced “hibachi” meal. I was excited about having sushi (it’s been a long time), but when it came out it was discolored and quite gross! I ended up sending my sushi back, and told her to remove it from our bill. I was told they had a new vendor, and that the “chef” had tasted it…then told me they were going rid of all their fish! I could’ve gotten very sick! I ended up sharing the meal my guy ordered…cuz I was starving! This was the absolute WORST anniversary dinner in the history of anniversaries! I tried to like it, even with the horrible atmosphere, but it was awful! I hate that we still paid $40 for his dinner! They need to close! DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to get dangerously ill!

Went Saturday Jan 28th to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Overall the meal was great, the show was fun. Received the check, paid it and tipped very generously, rounding off my check to an even $200. I checked my bank account today and found that they decided to take my 30+% tip and add an extra $10 to it, making it $210. The only reason I don’t pursue legal action is because I did not keep my copy of the receipt. I don’t like having money stolen from me. I will never be back.

The service was great start to finish, from the hostess to the bartender, to the server, to the chef. Went for hibachi and the show it offers. Was not disappointed. The food was excellent, the price was comparable to other Japanese steak houses. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The steak and scallops had my taste buds doing flips, complimented with some plum wine. The wait time was short, and we were able to sit at the bar while we waited. They do take reservations, but not required. Will definitely revisit.
