Sakoon invites you to embark on an extraordinary culinary journey of India.
Our chefs have created dishes that borrow from the past, yet are reinvented anew with vibrancy and modern flair. Named for the Indian word for peace, Sakoon was designed to envelop diners in warmth and serenity. Upon entering the restaurant, you’ll be greeted by the image of Buddha in hand-carved wooden panels, the glow from fiber-optic chandeliers, and the shimmer of a waterfall cascading into a pool of lotus petals.
We invite you to join us for an exquisite dining experience.

They serve north indian food. Portion size is small. Basket chaat was not as expected, it was like dahi sev puri. The kofta curry and naan was nice. The food is not at all spicy.

Went here for team lunch. There were about 15 of us. Ate at buffet, ordered drinks, etc. Total bill (including non-optional gratuity) was close to $500. Food was good – not great – would not come back for it but would not avoid it either. Buffet organized in a way that hard for many people to get food but there were few people so no issues. On our way out after paying a guy at the front counter starts telling us something that was very difficult to understand even after hearing few times. Turns out he wanted us to pay for a water bottle one of us was carrying. To clarify – we have paid the bill which included all water bottles on the table and he wanted to charge us extra because we were carrying one of them with us. That is after we spend $500 on a meal. I just refused to pay and walked out.

Best Indian buffet I can remember having. Totally worth the price. Variety and quality is excellent. Staff are continually checking the dishes so nothing runs out. Used plates were cleared quickly but we never felt rushed. I could easily spend two hours slowly working through everything served, enjoying the nicely decorated surroundings.

Good booths and ambience. We had the weekend buffet lunch. Pani puri was my favorite of all. They had salt lassi or buttermilk which was good. Their vada was tasty.

I’ve been away for quite a while, and appreciate Sakoon’s buffet. Since the pandemic a good Indian buffet has been unavailable. They present a smaller buffet than the old Bombay Garden, Sneha or Shilpa, but they have a good selection of both “veg” and “non veg” dishes.

Very spacious family restaurant. Food was above average, though I was expecting more given reputation of their mountain view location. My favorite was Rumali roti. Service was inconsistent. We had to send some roti back because it was cold. Took them a while to bring back the warm one.

Great food. Loved it. We tried stuffed kulcha, gobhi, and veg biryani. Every single thing was amazing and just right. From flavor to spice level… just perfect.

We tried Butter chicken and Dal “Sakoon”. Butter chicken sauce was almost the perfect I had so far. Dal is very well cooked and delicious. Virgin mojitos are super refreshing. Do check this place out.

We had the Sunday lunch buffet, $20, and it was delicious. They had palak corn, malai paneer, kadhi, and dal makhani for veg. Chicken curry, tandoori chicken, briyani chicken, for non veg. There is raita and chutney as well for tika and pakora appetizers. The dessert was lechyee halawa (bit weird) and kheer (only ok).
