My son and I were looking for a good breakfast near the convention center that would be fast, cost effective, and good. Everyone here is so nice! From the servers to the customers, it was a wonderful experience.

If you want some TRUE soul food, definitely check out this hidden gem. Me and family are from the south and when I tell you we enjoyed this food, it was exceptional soul food and the servers were quite amicable and helpful. Definitely pay this place a visit after a church service! Highly recommend

My favorite place to eat whenever I’m in DC. I got 2 juicy turkey wings, seasoned green beans, macaroni and cheese with cornbread moist and fluffy like yellow cake for $12.09 They also serve breakfast. Everything made fresh by a bunch of older women who reminds you of your grandmother I love this place

A friend brought me here 10 years ago and I never forgot this place. You know you’re in the right place when you see people who look like your grandmother serving food or cleaning up. Feels Like Home The cornbread tasted like pound cake, the croaker was delicious, Fried Chicken needed a little seasoning. I initially plan to get the cabbage but I could tell by looking at the dressing it was going to be so good , the dressing tastes like my grandma made it, mac n cheese was on point. The staff was very helpful & entertaining. A mask is required and they only take cash but there’s an ATM in the rear of the cafeteria. Everything is very clean, will definitely be returning on my next trip. If you’re a tourist the Metro is right there on the corner within walking distance maybe a block away

Best soul food restaurant in the Washington DC/ Northern Virginia area! Cafeteria style located inside of a church.

Its a church eat in kitchen. Nice staff. The blue plate meal is 7.99. The need to take Chitterlings off the menu. It is not good to serve that type of food for the community and not as a Christian church.

My wife and I are visiting from Cleveland Ohio and we spent $120 at restaurant in my hotel last night and it was mediocre at best. Just spent $30 here at Saints Paradise and it’s the best meal I’ve eaten since before the pandemic!!!! I’m about to leave a $20 tip.

Delicious food that tasted like it came right out of the home kitchen. The mac and cheese was heavy and packed with cheese. Ordering can be a bit tricky as its not really explained how to get a dinner plate versus other things.
