I like this place a lot, because their prices are cheaper than most Vietnamese places I’ve seen around this city so far. As of right now she’s only accepting take-out. The lady/owner here is so kind! My boyfriend said she made him feel welcome/ comfortable. His card accidentally declined once and he said she didn’t look at him weird or have any negative reactions to the situation. I’m stating this because my boyfriend is black and rarely feels welcome in most places. I’m glad to have found this restaurant and I’m proud to support it.

I live close by and was excited to see Saigon go in. The menu has been expanded since they opened. A great place to get pho and Bahn Mi sandwiches. Quick, the food is good and the service is friendly.

Try the broken rice. The pork chop was grilled perfectly and we loved the dipping sauce.

Outstanding experience – went in for a Vietnamese Coffee and happened to grab some food out of curiosity…really glad we did! Honestly blown away, totally exceeded any expectations I had. Saigon coffee was phenomenal, super deep & rich flavor and the perfect level of sweet from the condensed milk. Tried the meatball sandwich with a spring roll and I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t one of the best sandwiches I’ve had, might be in my Top 10. We’ll be back to try more, no doubt.

My husband read the glowing reviews and decided to give this place a try. We ordered the ‘pork’ banh mi, and Vietnamese coffee. Now, we were pretty spoiled in our previous city because we lived right near the Little Saigon neighborhood and had an incredible local bakery, and I know the Midwest is not known for its ethnic cuisine… But it takes a very special level of bad for me to spit food out immediately. I almost didn’t even try the sandwich, because upon inspection the protein was gray and looked like it came from a tube because it had the dimples in it. But I did try it, and boy do I regret it. The texture and taste of whatever that sauce was, was gritty and tasted more like ranch than anything that would belong on a banh mi. The iced Vietnamese coffee was still quite warm, and it just tasted of drip coffee and creamer, not espresso and condensed milk. Giving one extra star because the pastry we had was baked well and tasty, but that still feels generous.

Very familial atmosphere. One of the best—and biggest—banh mi sandwiches I’ve had in a long time (sautéed chicken with lemongrass). Shrimp summer rolls were beautifully made, too.

The owner was very nice and the food was delicious. The food is made fresh so you’ll be to be patient but it is so worth it. I got the sandwich combo. The coffee was a delicious treat and the bahn mi was very good. I will definitely be back again.
