We had dinner there tonight, our server was Bernardo. We had 2 appetizer or starters. The crab cake was delicious! The tomohawk was cooked perfect. The service was the best part, us not knowing menu. He explained everything and made sure we were happy with every part of our meal. The cocktails also were spot on. Will come visit again!! The decor was great as well!

We always love a Texas adventure, and if the rest our weekend is only half a good as our evening at Sage, we’ll be doing great! First of all, dopey me made a reservation for the lounge instead of the restaurant, but our hostess squeezed us in. The bar had an outstanding selection of bourbon, scotch and tequila that we really enjoyed. Kenna, our server made the evening a wonderful experience. She had such an excellent knowledge of wines, appetizers, main course and desserts, we didn’t even have to look at the menu. The lamb was to die for, my wife had the lobster dish, and her sister had the most delicious steak she ever had. But Kenna made the night. Thank you everyone at Sage for making our night!

We had read mixed reviews and were skeptical but our experience was great. I booked an early lounge reservation and the host tried to put us outside (not what I booked) instead we were taken to the upstairs lounge bar which was very nice. The GM very discreetly removed a very loud obnoxious girl (who was obviously a local) which was much appreciated. We were seated at a very quaint table on the upstairs mezzanine and Bernardo was an excellent waiter. Our appetizers were delicious and we shared the lamb (because I don’t eat much and we always share) and it could have been a little less done but the flavor was good.

The wife and I had our anniversary dinner here and it was amazing. The staff was awesome and very friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we spoke to the owner about doing a dinner for 10. The next night we had dinner with our friends in a private room. We were offered a select menu at a set price. It was very fair for the quality of dinning experienced. After dinner we smoked cigars on the patio which has a great atmosphere. We will be going back to Sage every time we’re in Fredericksburg!

Bad hostess/ good hostess. Make reservations. Found out the hard way but were “allowed ” to sit at the front bar and eat . Very kind bartenders! Good drinks . Bar bites – carpaccio. Tasty with tiny bits of melon . Needed salt/pepper to contrast the sweet of the melon . Split a seafood duo with my wife ( we’re older now and don’t eat quite as heartily as we once did). Scottish salmon and Spanich chorizo chip with chorizo bits along with Pecan pieces in the layer of corn underneath. Broccolini was a very good acutremont(sp.) to the proteins . Had a scallop on both dishes that needed about another 30 seconds cook time . Otherwise, very good . Try the $9 bread basket with delicious olive oil / honey butter and Hawaiian salt . Nice selections. Pricey , you bet . Worth it ?? I’ll let you know if we go back.

Upscale in all categories- food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional! We would recommend the bread basket, beef, seafood duo, and pecan dessert. Great wine list as well. My husband and I keep going back! We both love this restaurant. The luxury atmosphere, the menu is diverse, the cocktails are spectacular and they have a very impressive wine selection. We always start with the caviar and bread board. Definitely try the pasta. It’s packed with great flavors.

Spectacular! From start to finish, the atmosphere, service, and food was an amazing experience. My wife had the beef filet which she loved. I had what may be the best pork chop I’ve ever eaten. All the flavors were well crafted and on point. Great wine and scrumptious dessert. One of our new favorites!
