Saffron is my favorite!!! I love Mediterranean food and have probably eaten a gyro at every restaurant in tulsa area that serves one. Saffron’s Gyro Lunch Kabob Special is hands down the best experience all around. The atmosphere is clean & classy. The staff is well uniformed, polite & prompt. And the food….omg so good!!!!

To be honest, I’ve never had Mediterranean food before so I played it safe with what I ordered and it did not disappoint. It was beautiful and delicious. My husband (a picky eater) was amazed as well. I can’t wait to go back and try something different!

This restaurant my wife and I have ate at several times. We have tried a variety of things on the menu and found that they are all above average inequality. I would rate most of their food at 8 out of 10. The atmosphere is very quiet and slightly classier than your standard restaurant, and the servers are very attentive. While most items on the menu are slightly more expensive than your standard Mediterranean Cuisine the quality and atmosphere are also what you pay for. The wife and I frequently use this location as a nice dinner spot.

Upscale dining. Wait staff very attentive. I had the Hareshk Polo. Chicken thighs under a bed of rice with cranberries and slivered almonds. It was filling but was not expecting chicken thighs with the bone and gristle. The falafel was good.

My favorite Mediterranean in all the land! They have the best falafel wrap and they don’t put pickles in it, which I notice is a thing – the rice and French fries are always great too!

Three of us had dinner at Saffron. We brought an out of town friend who liked it very much. The restaurant was decorated very pretty for Christmas. Our food was fabulous. I really enjoyed the chicken with the little berries (sorry I don’t remember the name) they tasted like tiny cranberries. My husband said his beef shish-kabob was very flavorful and tender meat. We look forward to our next meal.

My gyro meat and chicken were OUT IF THIS WORLD, especially served with the sauces the platter comes with. Our biggest disappointment was the hummus, which had no real flavor. We could not even determine that it had any lemon, garlic, or olive oil in it. It was served in a watery mixture which may have been from olive juice, but it wasn’t good.

I was the only customer. Waitress took my drink and dinner order and never returned to the table until she dropped the check. Someone else delivered my food. I would have had another drink, I needed more water, and dessert looked good, but there was no offer of any of that. So sad…

Very quiet and romantic atmosphere. I ordered the Braised Lamb and my husband got the kabob trio. Food came out fast and hot. Everything was delicious. Will be going back to try their Persian stews.
