Small restaurant, very good food with generous portions, fair prices. Got the Tom yum soup, papaya salad, pad Thai, special pad Thai with basil, and drunken noodles. We customized the level of spiciness for each dish. Everything was excellent, although the pad Thai was on the sweeter side. The inside is nicely decorated and the ambiance was pleasant.

This place was amazing!! We stayed at The Inn at St. John, just a block away, and were told to check out this restaurant. After a big day of exploring, this was the perfect meal! Staff is so friendly. A lot of people came in for take-out.

Best Thai food in the area! Service is always on point, always friendly and smiling. Absolutely the best packaging I’ve ever seen from any restaurant, I’ve never missed or spilled any food from this restaurant. 30 years later and I still see the owner in there prepping fresh vegetables today. It amazes me how she still remembers me after I’ve move away for a few years. Five stars!

I love love love Saeng Thai ♥️ Not just my favorite Thai restaurant in Portland, but my hands down favorite restaurant in Portland! Everything is so delicious and everyone is always nice. You can order delivery straight from their website so you avoid the fees from other delivery services and the food always arrives hot! Their pad see ew with tofu is my go to and all of their curries are so yummy. Highly recommend for dine in or take out!
