I bought the Catfish dinner from here and it smelled horrible. Instead of providing a refund they offered the same thing or a substitute. Obviously if I ordered something from there that smelled rotten I wouldn’t want anything else. They said they don’t offer refunds. However, there is no REFUND POLICY on the receipt or around the store.

When my husband and I walked in we were greeted very warm an friendly. The food was hot tender and delicious. We ordered beef ribs, cabbage,string beans and Macaroni and Cheese. For dessert we ordered carrots cake and banana pudding. Everything tasted like down home southern cooking. We are from North Carolina. Keep up the good work and good vibes Sade’s!

This place used to be so good but now that it’s under new management, the food is very hit or miss. I ordered fried chicken and shrimp combo, rice, and cabbage. The fried chicken was so hard/stale like it had been sitting out all day or reheated, the rice was hard and the cabbage was so salty. The shrimp was decent. So disappointed. I’ve catered food here before under the old management but never again!

I got the chicken wing dinner. Wings were soo small like tiny. Turkey wings were broken up. Food so bland no seasoning. The reviews are real. I was told I was getting 5 wings because they were small turns out only 4 I didn’t even want to take them back because it was not tasteful at all. Never again not to mention I placed a to go order at 3:00 got there 3:30 it still was not even done. Smh

I ordered via delivery, and the food was great. The portions of the barbecue chicken are plenty! Collard greens were really well seasoned, mac and cheese was not short of cheese, and of course cornbread was classic. I’ve been craving it! Thanks Sades!

Ordered Baked chicken, mashed potatoes and string beans. They sent macaroni & cheese instead of mashed potatoes. I’m on a restricted diet & cannot eat macaroni & cheese. First time ordering from this restaurant and we are getting off to a bad start. I don’t know if this was an error or a substitution in which case I should have been called and asked what replacement I would prefer if mashed potatoes were unavailable. I think this is a new business. They need to be mindful of what they’re doing. I did taste the macaroni & cheese and it’s bland AF.

I have been to this spot twice. Excellent soul food, some of the best I have ever eaten from an outside establishment. It’s basically a take put spot, with limited seats, maybe 3-4. The Whiting Fish, Beef Ribs, Turkey Wings, Teryaki Salmon are all excellent choices. The Yams, Mac & Cheese are delicious. Service could be better though. Cashier seemed like she had an attitude problem, as if she didn’t want to be there. The only real downfall, they didn’t have everything available on the menu. I would highly suggest updating the menu if you are not going to have everything on it. For example, besides a few other items as well, it is false advertisement to have only 4 desserts but have 12 on the menu.

For a 15 minute wait, I got all of this! Parking is difficult in the area. You may want to call your order in ahead or bring a party sit in the car. The wings in the shrimp wing combo were small, but the shrimps are big. The food is seasoned lightly for all taste levels.

I’ve eaten here before and the food was great. Unfortunately the food is now tasteless. Not sure what’s going on but to spend 17 plus dollars for unseasoned bland food just doesn’t sit right. The fish taste like it was just battered and fried. After this experience I won’t be back

The food was horrible..not like before. Did they change management? The chicken was so dried out that it went from the dried out fried skin to the bone…nothing between, no meat! The server was pleasant and I was hungry but when I got home everything went in the garbage!
