Excellent atmosphere and service, but the food wasn’t quite as flavorful or rich as I was expecting. The tequeños were small and crispy, but packed with tasty cheese (I am used to having more dough, though). The patacón was a little dry with ketchup as the main sauce, but the meat was delicious! As for the arepa, the meat was also delicious, but overall it didn’t have the depth of flavor I’ve come to expect here in Miami.

Delicious Venezuelan comfort food in a clean and relaxing atmosphere. Service is friendly and food is very good. Try the pabellon empanada or if you are hungry for more, order the cachapa. The pulled beef (carne mechada) is nicely seasoned. Overall, a great experience. Several locations in South Florida, one in Orlando, and one in the Houston TX area. This store is well located right off Tamiami trail.

I have been coming to this place for years and have been through their many names changes, and owner changes from way back when they were called Suculentos. It seems like they were bought by this chain called Sabor Venezolano. This used to be favorite place to come in and dine and order via Uber eats. However, ever since they were bought out and had a name change this place has never been the same. I kept giving them the benefit of doubt to see if their food would improve but I could honestly say it has not. Every-time I come and order empanadas they are over cooked almost hard to fully bite into because the breading is burned on the outside, but somehow the inside is frozen. I was surprised to see when I bit into my empanada that it was still frozen in the middle and had to chew threw cold meat. Their arepas are okay, but you could definitely find better ones near by. Their cake is also extremely dry, opposed to before it used to be moist and very flavorful and those are just to name a couple of things.
