Diana, our waitress was friendly and accommodating with doing substitutions with some of our dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, and I like how each room is a different theme. Makes you feel like you are eating in a home.

Food was amazing. We got the calamari to start and then we each ordered the a lo pobre (steak and fish). So good and huge portions. The restaurant is also really cute and reminded me of the small restaurants I would visit in South America.

Nicest staff. Diana is awesome! I got the vegan spring rolls, the onion and lime salad, on the vegetable Chaufa, which is also vegan. Great portions for the money you’re paying. Apparently the owner is vegan! 10/10.

We ordered papá a la huancaina, tallarines verdes, ceviche mixto, papa rellena, causa, lomo saltado, camarones al ajillo but sadly I have to say that with the exception of the arroz chaufa and the chicken causa, everything was below a 2 star. The sauces for the huancaina and the pesto were truly not something to brag about. Either tasting like they added colorant rather than ají amarillo and for the pesto this was just too watery. I think I make better sauces than this place. Further, it made us all super sick to our stomachs. It was truly disappointing especially after seeing all the reviews. They mixed orders giving us potato instead of yuca, served a cold side of potatoes, and forgot to take an appetizer out the papa rellena for my party. I will not be going back to this place. If you do make sure you have a thick stomach.

The food was amazing! Huge portions and extremely tasty. Best Peruvian sauces ever. I basically drank the ceviche sauce and all the spices were perfect. The staff was also so kind and explained everything to us by each section. If you’re looking for a fun dinner this is a great find!

I’m so grateful to work below Sabor Peru. Diana, the owner, never fails to provide me with the best service. I regularly pick up meals for lunch and they are always a hit. The portions are amazing and everything is always so fresh. I’ve also dined in and I love the fact that it’s BYOB. It’s a great place for a date night !

Sabor Peru is my favorite place to go with friends and family. Diana is such a wonderful person who’s created a beautiful intimate space to enjoy good food in good company. You can’t go wrong when deciding what to eat. There is truly something for everyone with meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan options. Everything is always fresh and made with love! This place has my whole heart.

Cravably good food. So fun to try new things. The server was very helpful and offered great recommendations. I will be back for the Peruvian pesto pasta and churasco! Still thinking about the crispy yucca with Aji Amarillo sauce, too!!

I LOVE Peruvian food. Grew up with homemade Peruvian cooking so I’m picky. I called to place an order for pick up and got put on hold for 15 minutes, so I rightfully assumed they forgot about me and called back. It happens! I was annoyed but they were super sweet and quickly took my order. I was pleasantly surprised by their unique space when I went to pick up. Looks like they got creative and made a restaurant out of an old upper level apartment unit, so the interior has a very homey, colorful and artistic vibe. It’s small but I think that adds to the charm. They gave me a complimentary tres leches for the hold thing which was very kind, and it was delicious. Beef in the Lomo wasn’t as tender as I’m used to but the flavor was great and it had lots of juice (nothing more disappointing than dry Lomo). Chaufa was on point. Salsa criolla was on point. Aji was on point. Overall, solid Peruvian spot that cares about their customers. Support a local small business and check them out 🙂
