Wow… this place rocked. While visiting Noda, we stumbled upon this place. We luv Mexican cuisine so we had a bias there. We had only tacos because we had dinner reservations elsewhere. The tacos were for $1. We had to get a few. The cook was also our waiter because it’s small and homely.

We visited the one on Davidson last night. I had the Carne Asada fried, Three Amigos burrito with shredded chicken, and the barbacoa street tacos. My fiance ordered a BYOB burrito with shredded chicken and street corn. And a small order of chips and queso. We also had churros. everything was excellent!! Only problem was the table wasn’t quite big enough for all the food we ordered lol. The food was made to order of course so everything was fresh, and it didn’t take long to get our food at all, and the portions are all generous. The small chips and queso is big enough for 2 people but you may want an extra queso with it.

This place was unique and glad I came. I ordered the Nachos Especial (which is plenty for 2 people to eat together) and the churros, which were amazing! I also got the guava empanada which wasn’t my favorite, but still worth trying if you like sweet empanadas. When I go back to Charlotte, I will definitely be back to try something new here.

LIFEHACK FUN
I wouldn’t eat here if I was you! I’ve eaten here before and it was good but the last two times were absolutely awful! The last time the shredded chicken was from a can! This time they didn’t put anything inside the burrito that I asked for and when I said something they looked at me like I am dumb! They must have new owners or something! Don’t eat here. I’m a foodie and their food has gone from great to sucking in two months! After eating here weekly and their food tasting different and bad all of a sudden, I won’t try again.

Unfortunately I had to edit my last review. Their chicken for the shredded chicken tacos tasted like canned chicken today. They weren’t good at all. I eat here atleast twice a week. I’m just trying to figure out what happened. Did you run out of chicken? I’ve never had bad tasting food from here but today was a one star experience I tried to call and couldn’t reach anyone by phone. Unfortunately my order was Togo and I couldn’t bring it back. It was really awful tasting. I’m shocked because like I said the food has always been amazing.

The staff is so nice I have to start of with that. Very friendly and helpful. I get the tacos beef and pulled chicken. So good! Simple yet so good. Bonus if you bike there, it’s a 10% off! Their sauces are really good and the place is share clean. Love this place

Usually come in every Tuesday for some cheap tacos as the flour tortilla and fresh ingredients are definitely a killer combo. Sofia is an absolute all star from her personality towards me and whoever I bring to her fellow coworkers . She’s adamant to absolutely make sure we get what we need whether it’s to hand me some extra sauce if she has a recommendation to a Togo box for anything I take with me . The service here was pretty nice. You place your order then seat yourself. They had about 6 salsa choices. We chose mild, green monster and verde. The monster was spicyest of the 3. We order 3 authenico tacos, 3 American tacos and street corn. All were pretty good. I’d give it another try.

My friend really liked the gordita. I got the beef empanada and arepa, which were okay. The arepa breading was really thick. I think the empanada had too much of the cumin seasoning. We both liked the salsas (didn’t try the habanero ones though). It was a good experience.
