I have not one complaint. The food was exceptional, truly homemade, fresh, and plentiful. The service was pleasant and fast. This is going to be a go to place for myself for sure.

Great place for authentic Mexican food. Second time at this place and I enjoyed the food just as much as the first time. Their specialty is the Huaraches, which let’s you choose a meat guiso (stew) on top of a masa (corn) thick tortilla. I highly recommend trying one of these, Thier meat guisos are great as well as the rajas con queso. Great choice for lunchtime as well as for a good dinner.

Let me start by saying that I might have been mislead by the expectations set by the people that recommended this place to me. To summarize my experience: I will not return for a second time. The menu options are great. When they bring your agua fresca in a colorful jarrito you are led to believe you are in for a great treat. An appetizer of beans and chips is provided as a welcome gesture (nothing to highlight about it). I went with the “Fiesta Plato”, which is a combo plate of many of the menu offerings and includes sopes, flautas, entomatadas, among others, as well as a cut of cecina (thin meat). The food was cold. The flavor of the entomatada sauce was bland. The topping on the sope, which I think was mole (honestly couldn’t tell), tasted like it sat in the refrigerated over night. The chicken in the flauta had no flavor either. The “table” sauce was sour and I didn’t see a red variant. The only positive thing I can say is that the cecina was cooked nicely. The total for 3 aguas frescas and the 2 plates was around $55. Like I said I won’t return a second time.

Tried the 3 Guisos Huaraches and they’re the bomb!.. lol Very pleased with food quality and will come back to try something new again. A bit in the pricey side for local, hole in the wall kinda hidden spot but worth it if you’re wanting to try something new from Mexican cuisine.
