Visited this gem while vacationing in Pensacola with my two sisters, and was blown away by the service, the menu selection, & the amazing food! One of my sisters is vegan and she was ecstatic to see all the vegan options on the menu. For appetizers, we ordered spring rolls, golden bags with crab meat, the tofo triangle; all were exceptional! For our lunches, we all ordered the Chef’s curry and loved every single bite. We enjoyed our lunch outside, under the comfort of umbrellas, and had such a great time. From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines and SaBai has been on my radar for a while. It’s a very small space, I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan to have dinner there, I went during lunch and was seated immediately. The host was so sweet, she explained the specials and the curry of the day. Our server was also very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. As an appetizer I ordered the chicken wontons and Christine ordered the spring rolls. Everything was cooked perfectly, the wontons were crisp and delicious. I loved the dipping sauce for both. The spring rolls were loaded with veggies, really good. We were both given a small salad as well, a nice surprise. Even though it was pretty basic, the dressing was delicious, reminded me of thousand island. I decided on shrimp pad Thai with the heat level Thai hot (I loooove spicy food) the noodles were delicious with a slightly sweet flavor. The amount of shrimp were quite generous and the heat level could have actually been a little hotter. Nonetheless it was a really good dish. Christine ordered the See Yew with chicken. While my noodles were small, hers were wide, and she chose a mild heat level. She really enjoyed her dish, the chicken and vegetables were plentiful and well seasoned. All in all we had a great time and I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

We have lived in the area for 2 years and we’ve been looking for an amazing Thai restaurant… I don’t think we have to look any further.

Finding good vegan food locally sometimes feels like searching for Sasquatch in the woods. Well, we found it here! Sabai Thai on Jefferson in Pensacola has some lovely vegan friendly options on their menu. I tried their coconut curry and it was to die for. You also have to try their basil wraps – SO good !!!

We discovered this Gem 6 weeks ago and have been 4 times since. I don’t know much about Thai food and how this compares, but I do know the food is amazing. Without a doubt this is one of the best places to eat in Pensacola. Amazing food, cozy atmosphere and kind owner’s = a homerun!

Excellent food, excellent service.nSmall on the inside so may have to wait. More upscale than your hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurants.

Wow…people in Pensacola need to get out of here more. This is NOT 4.5 star Thai. Is not. Two very bland tiny portioned entrees took 45-minutes from order to table. House only half packed. Speaking of, two reserved tables (8 & 4) that didn’t show up until 6 while we watched 20 people get turned away at the door. Between that and the obvious mis-use of seating space this place is missing out on A LOT OF $$$$!?! Good for them, though…Pensacola loves it. We’ve had better Thai in the food court of a New Jersey shopping mall. Yikes.

I’ve tried a few Asian and Thai places in the last 3 or so months since moving to the area. This place is by far the best. Food is fantastic. Ambience and comfort is 10/10. Can’t wait to come back.

So after having it 4 times this week and twice today I really am starting to believe that Sabai is the best food in Pensacola and possibly the whole country. It’s always so incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced. You all are fantastic at what you do. The cooking, the service, and everything in between!
