S.E.A. Hut offers a unique menu from various SouthEast Asian regions such as Cambodia, Thai, Laos, & Vietnam. It is a small, family owned and operated restaurant ran by Mora and her team. Mora was a psychology major at UC Davis, but fate lead her to open a restaurant. She has no culinary background, nor had she ever worked in a restaurant prior to opening Taste of Angkor, her very first Cambodian restaurant opened in 2015. But she has a strong passion for cooking learned from her mother. Many Southeast Asian countries have their own way of making dishes such as papaya salad, laab, and noodle soups. At S.E.A. Hut, you will find a twist of these popular items, boba drinks, and many more all in one stop.

Cute little place. Decent food. Room for improvement. The drunken noodles were a bit chewy. The taro was way too sweet. The tables need to be rearranged so the walkways between tables don’t be right at the hanging lights. We hit the lights a couple times coming in and out of the table. Service is half-serve which means have to order and and pay upfront, but the server did bring our plates, food, and drink to the table. I’m happy with that.

A hidden gem . You wouldn’t expect to have such a good food option to eat here. Had very delicious option. Everything tasted good and lovely. Workers were nice. Enviornment looked friendly. Everything was delicious, the only thing is that I wished the Laos papaya salad would taste a little better. Other than that, everything was yummy

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Avocado smoothie at Sea Hut in Elk Grove and it was absolutely delicious! This smoothie is perfect for anyone who loves the creamy goodness of avocados. The texture was thick and creamy, but still easy to drink. The avocado flavor was strong, but not overpowering, and the sweetness was just right.

Delicious food, I ordered the chicken laap & the stuffed wings. Both were very good, the spicy beef sour soup is amazing & so flavorful! The chicken skewers were also really good: will be back!

I am so upset I forgot to take photos! This place was fantastic and the food was soo good. I was too quick to dig in and absolutely finished up my plate before I even considered taking photos. We got the Cambodian Sour Kroeung Beef Soup, Lao Pork Sausage, Kaopiek, and the Nam Khao.

I really really REALLY WISH they were closer to me… but not gonna lie, I’d drive/travel 2hrs total just to get their food and eat. I think I’ve had up to 80% of their menu at this point and I have loved every single one of them. I mean, I’d still have my least favorite of the bunch I order (usually always $60+ for a family of 4-6) and still have leftovers for the next day. I wish I could give you a recommendation, but honestly, if there’s a certain meat or certain vegetable you like, or even a soup, you likely will love whatever you get here. It really is just that good. Did I mention I travel to pick up the food and back that is up to an hr to two just to eat at home (covid sucks)??! Yes, this includes traveling with soup! I love this place, especially if you love a Cambodian/Asian dishes!

I am not from the area and was recommended this place by friends to cater a tray of Nam Khao. I must say I am very impressed! I make Nam Khao at home when I have events but this Nam Khao is amazingly on point. The texture, the amount of Nam susuage, the herbs & vegetables were all balanced. I will definitely return to purchase again. I wish I was closer so that I can order more often. But forsure, when I am nearby, I will not hesitate to stop in.
