A local jewel of a restaurant since 1985!!! Offerings include Friday night fish fry, grilled salmon, sandwich wraps, crab cakes, pier burgers with a myriad of toppings, and much much more. You will find something that strikes your fancy on the large menu Clean, comfortable and welcoming! Outdoor seating is available in season and it is landscaped beautifully. An outdoor fireplace promises warmth on chilly evenings. The river rolls by across the street as the perfect backdrop. My food was served hot and seasoned correctly. The well stocked bar and servers were spot on. Very attentive and friendly. A compliment of homemade cakes and pies are offered and we’re wonderful. The ownership and staff should be very proud of what they are accomplishing at Ryan’s Pier. Keep up the exemplary work. Well dóne, KUDOS!!!

Been going here ever since I was a little girl and have always been made to feel like family. My favorite restaurant in town! Such a family, friendly environment and amazing food! You can never go wrong with a wrap from here but you definitely want to get a burger. The owners are sweet as can be and make sure you’re taken care of! Have never had a single complaint and have gone there for every big event, after wedding ceremonies. The waitresses are so sweet and the drinks are just as good!

Good food and lots of it at very reasonable prices. It’s beautiful sitting outdoors right by the Kankakee River. We went on Father’s Day and it may have been a bit overwhelming for the staff, but honestly they were so husy trying to keep up and did a pretty good job. It couldn’t have been easy. We’ll be back because it is a very relaxing atmosphere with gorgeous scenery.

Super cute place!! We sat at the bar facing the front windows and had a nice view of the river. Beer was nice and cold and the bloody Mary was great! The bartender was nice and the chicken quesadillas were AWESOME!!!!

Beard Adventures (Beard Adventures)
The food here is great. Burgers especially. More parking in the back so if you get here and it looks full use the back door. Right across the street from the river. If it is raining a lot maybe you don’t wanna go here it is in a flood zone, however, they have the flood walls. Great place to go for beer as well. One of my favorite places in the Kankakee area. If you like Ma and Pa places come here
