Ruvo is the perfect restaurant for Southern Italian food! Not on the busy main street, parking right outside the door, beautiful building… but the main attraction is the food. I’ve been eating authentic Italian food for 50 years, and their sauce literally had me in tears. The eggplant rollatini was among the best I ever had! Pasta cooked to perfection. And the desserts… I said to my friend “I wish I could stop time, so I can eat this forever.”

I came here for my birthday dinner, there were 4 adults (plus my niece who orders off the adult menu), and 3 additional kids. Our waitress was fantastic, most of us did the price fix menu expecting it to be half portions however here the portions are huge. The food was incredible, the drinks were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Atmosphere was enjoyable. Food wasn’t that good at all. Order rigatoni Alla vodka and what I got was red sauce which with flavorless with chunks of meat that was not in the description. We were only there for 45 minutes and throughout the entire meal the waiter staff kept trying to take our plates away while eating.

My mom and I had taken the ferry to Port Jefferson in search of a good restaurant we looked at a few places but a few locals suggested Ruvos. So we were like okay we will try it. Oh my Universe the food was sooooo good . The staff was very friendly the atmosphere was great. I been telling all my friends about Ruvos. I will definitely go back there again.
