Our founder Rusty Fenton’s dream was to bring the authentic taco stand experience to local communities and to become the neighborhood taco stand.
The dream became reality when the first Rusty Taco opened in a converted gas station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, TX in 2010. But Rusty Taco is more than just a place for street tacos. Rusty also believed in serving the community and creating a place where people from all walks of life can come together and feel welcome.
We are passionate about what we do and keep our menu fresh and simple. Deliciously uncomplicated tacos crafted by hand with recipes created by our founder, who famously said: “Tacos are the Most Important Meal of the Day®”!

Had a great experience and enjoyed the tacos very much. I recommend the bbq brisket and baja shrimp tacos, they’re delicious. Fairly priced tacos but smaller than I’d usually like them to be. I was disappointed with the guacamole on the nachos as it was already browning and tasted old. If the guacamole was fresh it would be 5 stars! I can see myself coming back here in the future.

First-time customer. Not what I expected from the look of the outside of the building. When you walk through the door, you are transported to another place filled with people, street tacos, and laughter. We had a little wait in line to make our order, but the other customers were happy to share what they liked at Rusty Taco. My girls got tacos and noted how much flavor they had (not pictured). I had the BBQ Brisket Nachos (pictured). They were amazing. Mild, medium, and hot sauces are available, but I didn’t try them this time.

First time eating at a rusty taco! Did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and the food came out very quick. I ordered the brisket nachos and added street corn to it everything was so delicious that we discussed coming back for breakfast to try the breakfast tacos

Pretty good place for texmex. The food seemed pretty fresh for both the toppings and the meats. I’m not sure if it was by design or not but one of my tacos only had one tortilla and it definitely needed two! All the hot sauces are pretty good but the yellow one was my favorite. All in a all a good place to grab a bite to eat!

This was our favorite place to grab tacos in Lincoln. We come here at least 2 times a week. They got new tortillas and cardboard would taste better than these things. I wont be coming back until they get the issue resolved. I cant believe they would even sell these things. We were able to salvage the contents of the shell.

My wife ordered a cauliflower taco and received a fish. When she went to talk to the people working at the counter they just said well if you want another taco you have to pay. When she said no, she already paid for this one, it was wrong, they just starred at her and said nothing. Horrible service.
