Can’t say enough good things about this place. Came down on a 4 day vacation and wanted the Delaware/Maryland crab experience and got it. Crabs were cooked perfectly and caught fresh that day. My fiance got crab cakes and corn bread that was great also. The owner was incredibly friendly and has a great story for his business. If you want great seafood in a feel good atmosphere, go here.

So I am giving this restaurant 5 stars all around. The food was the best we have had on this vacation, from the crab cakes, stuffed shrimp, crab dip, to the fried oysters, and of course the crabs. As a non shell fish lover, for me we ordered the broiled salmon and it was cooked to perfection eaten with some moist corn bread! We ordered a lot! It was delicious

Food was fantastic, crabs were great , if you want to take the family out for crabs and be able to afford it , this is definitely the place to go , very nice people who run the place. Went there on a Saturday night for dinner, they were really busy and understaffed but did a great job serving all the tables full of people. Atmosphere here isn’t great , and could use some sprucing up, there was a TV on the wall, which was off and some reggae music in the background ( I think for staff to listen to) in the kitchen.

So glad we stopped here for dinner. Will do it again and again. Owner was there and treated us like old friends. Server was awesome. It’s small but delivers big on a welcoming feeling you won’t find at the big name restaurants. Food was so good. Got shrimp, oysters, soft crabs, corn, cornbread. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

What a great find! Very friendly staff, and great food! I actually had to wait a few moments for the oysters to be shucked for my fried oysters dinner. My husband had the flounder which was delicious! We also had the crab dip. We have tried alot of crab dips but this was the best we have ever had! Had already eaten half before I took the picture. We will be back again!!!

Called to see if they had Jumbo steamed crabs and reserved a dozen. They were great. Chris got us to try his fried oysters which were the best we have had. Not oily at all. Crisp and terrific. Can’t wait to go back for a soft shell crab sandwich.

The seafood was excellent. We especially enjoyed the fried flounder and the crab cakes. The person who waited on us did everything possible to make our experience great. The breads (apple, corn, blueberry) were particularly good. Overall, I highly recommend Rusty Jimmies.

Was at the beach this past weekend and order 2 1/2 dozen large crabs along with a few other items on Saturday to be picked up a few hours later. Not only was the wait almost 40 minutes past the pickup time, but they were the smallest large crabs I have ever seen. Even worse, every single crab was waterlogged, leaving all of the meat mushy, and at least a third were just plain bad. Additionally, the pound of shrimp that was order was impossible to peel. While we opened them all to check, we left at least half of the crabs uneaten, which I have never done before. All four of us thought it was the worst crab experience we have ever had

Great spot! How often to you get served directly by the owner and his family? Not only to they serve you, they catch the crabs too! Everything is prepared to order, no getting half warm mushy crabs. The seating is comfy and the interior very nicely decorated. Was not too busy and we were able to be seated right away. It is a BYOB restaurant so if you want beer/wine you can bring it yourself. Very fair prices and generous serving sizes. We have another local place that is normally our go to for a crab dinner. After tonight’s meal and excellent service I feel this may be our top choice.
