Nice hidden gem we stumbled upon on our ride! Great food, cool little pond across the road (bonus for shore fishing OR – check out the paved boat ramp for kayaks, canoes, and low power motors!!). Ample parking, indoor/outdoor seating and flavored snowcones! Friendly feathered friends on the hunt for snacks

Happened to be in the area and popped in for lunch. We were nicely surprised at how delish our food was! We ordered the Texas Toast BLT and a scallop/ clam strip combo. The seafood was freshly lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. Very tender! The BLT was loaded with quality bacon! Recommend!

I chose Russos again because I think their veggie burgers are the best. I enjoy their afternoon lunch atmosphere. The service is friendly, patient and kind even amongst each other.

Took a bit to even be acknowledged while we waited to be seated. The waitress forgot our drinks. We got our app and salads at the same time, still no drinks..not even water. We ordered Poutibe and most of the cheese was still cold. I asked if the fried fish was batter or breaded. She said batter. So I ordered it. Looked like breaded, texture when trying it was like breaded and she still insisted batter. I don’t like the gritty texture with fish…so $$ down the drain. See picture included below. Hubby made me take it home. His shrimp scampi was good. She even offered us a bag to take our food home, then forgot to bring it to us…..

When we walked into Russo’s today there where 2 tables outside and no one inside. We ordered belly clams. After we ordered 4 tables came in. An hour later all 4 tables had been served and we did not . When we inquired we were told that we were being served in orde. I responded that was not true as we had come in much earlier than the others. Then I was rudely told by by the owners wife that we were. Told that they were .short in the kitchen.. Not true… and I could speak to her husband.. wWe used to wat here frwquently… no more. Stay away.

I liked that they offer baked and fried versions of seafood dishes. We also liked the side dishes that are offered. Our only complaint was that it took a long time for us to be seated even though there were plenty of empty tables and we felt like we were being ignored. Once we got seated our waitress was on top of service. We are looking forward to going back there in the nicer weather when we will be able to dine outside.

I don’t want to jump on the band wagon but!!! I wonder if the MGT or owner is reading these reviews? I’m retired and my wife and I eat out every weekend. Trying to find a new place we stopped here. The reviews are correct. There was one waitress. She was doing her best but it made for a long experience. The clam chowder was terrible. It must have been sitting on high heat for a long time, I couldn’t eat it. I ordered fish and chips. The breading on the fish was not for me, maybe others would like it. One person said this place has a lot of potential. I would agree. Either it’s a scheduling issue, payroll issue or staffing issue. Either way it should be resolved. How to fix the food? Run it like a business. Time and temp the soups oh by the way if it’s clam chowder then put clams in it. I didn’t see one! I wish this restaurant luck.

Gave this place another try. The service still just plain sucks. Ordered drinks never that we never got. Understaffed? Maybe, but it really wasnt to to busy on a Sunday night. Food was alright, nothing to write home about. And dont bring any big bills to pay because they wont be able to break it.
