We loved the environment! My sons face lit up when he saw this place! The meatball appetizer (3) were served in little cast iron skillets which was a great presentation and they were delicious ! They made really good drinks – the bartender knows what they are doing

I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about Russo in Worcester so I thought I’d give it a try . When you walk in it is very nice , down a few steps into an all brick seating area, great for a date or special gathering . There are several rooms and a bar area, which looks very, very nice.! The appetizers of Calamari, fried artichoke and homemade meatballs were very, very good , everyone gave them rave reviews! The meatball appetizer (3) were served in little cast iron skillets which was a great presentation and they were delicious ! Everyone raved about the Calamari. I got the chicken marsala, which had a very nice presentation, but after tasting it, it did lack some sweetness from the marsala wine, and it was kind of a white sauce which I’m used to having a more darker Marsala reduction sauce. The pasta with ricotta, good excellent reviews and look great. The chicken Parmesan looked OK but a little bland. The shrimp francaise looked nice but if came out looking like it was cooked all together and you had to cut out each piece of shrimp from the egg batter . I am a little fussy when it comes to chicken masala but honestly, they could’ve been much tastier yes, a darker, sweeter masala sauce was used, literally very little taste in the sauce. A great place to go for a date, etc. and I would definitely go back again which I will in the future. I also got a draft beer, which was good, but you know my experience, it was a small glass of beer.

Wish it could have been better, as the food was tasteless! And the price is 20+ a plate!! Hard pasta — pink chicken/ chicken Alfredo – was bland I needed salt and pepper to eat!!

My husband and I went to Russos with freinds who also are Russo fans. The waitress said the kitchen was backed up so she wanted to take our order but we asked for cocktails first. She delivered the cocktails a good 10 minutes after order was placed. She took out appetizer and dinner order. The salads came before the appetizer which was odd but we were okay with it. We never saw the waitress again for an hour. We flagged her down and asked for another cocktail and she delivered it quickly and said our food would be coming out. Finally, my husband got up and found the manager and said we needed to get our bill and leave. We had been there for 2 hours with no dinner. We were asked if we wanted to get it to go and said no. They only charged us for cocktails and were very apologetic. We were all really frustrated and very hungry. No waitress for most of our visit and no meal. . I hope their management straightens it all out as their food is great normally.

My wife and I tried this restaurant for the 1st time and were very happy with it. The food was excellent. My wife is a picky eater and doesn’t eat meat. She loves sea food so she usually gets the mussels. These were perfectly done a good size. It’s been a while since we had good mussels anywhere. They’re usually overcooked and the size of a pea. Service was very good. Will definitely come back.

Sadly my second experience at Russo’s was not as positive as my first. No one working was happy or energetic. We seemed to be a bother to our waitress. After placing our order, we waited over an hour for food while we watched those around us who arrived after us receive theirs. The food was mediocre after receiving it and she never came back to make sure things were okay. We never got a chance to order second drinks. Then it took another half hour to pay the bill. What should have been a terrific family meal out turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Choose this for date night! We loved the environment, definitely great for date night or an intimate dinner. We started off with the calamari and the arugula salad. Calamari was crisp and the aioli was delicious but the salad stole the show! The goat cheese and figs went so well together. We then moved on to the Pasta Pomodoro with meatballs and the Veal Francese. I’m not too fond of meatballs but I would order these again in a hurry, boyfriend loved the veal as well. We finished it off with their Apple pie special which was such a great interpretation with their own twist. Service was great, waitress was honest with recommendations and was quick. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Great spot for a date. Really nice atmosphere, great drinks and food. Really enjoyed the space for something a little more “special”. Prices were fair @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

The gnocchi is amazing, however I get it with the red sauce which is a little spicier and it is amazing. My 4 yo son wanted to go to Russo’s for his birthday for the gnocchi (but in the vodka sauce).

Decor is very nice and appealing. Lovely Italian restaurant on water street. However, the food was just alright. I was a bit disappointed by the Bolognese as it was too salty. The bread and calamari were the only great dishes. There is a weekday special of rigatoni with meatballs and that was also just decent. Meatballs were too soft and had an different texture. Unfortunately, the coke was also flat, not sure what’s going on there.
