My experience was exactly like Kayla Atwell on here, I should have looked it up before going. Will not be back! To the sweaty owner who sat down at our table and attempted to friend us. If your sweaty no one wants you to sit and rub up against them at the dinner table. That was very unprofessional and disturbing. His only replay to how bad the food was “we can’t get it right all the time” come on, seriously! If everyone is saying the same thing. There must be a problem, learn how to grill some food. We paid 60$ and left hungry. Poor service and terrible food. The lady manager had a horrible attitude when we told her the food was bad. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

I have lived all over from coast to coast, both north and south including Alaska. Had many dining experiences in my lifetime. Including having meals prepped family style, private dining, ranch styles, parties, and well you get the picture. How GRATEFUL I am to live and work so close to this establishment! From the first time stepping inside and being greeted by the owners and their staff to make us feel like a “welcome to our home style” and be served with genuine home made meals including meats that are smoked in a real smoke house and not pre made or pre cooked meal that came out of the back of a semi truck delivery!

Yep! Gonna need to go out of your way for this one. Food was really great! The staff was friendly and attentive but the owner was my favorite! Came and sat down next to us and chatted a bit about BBQ and the area. We will definitely come back and bring others with us.

Decided to try this place while in town for a family function and I was disappointed. My burger was cold, my fries were soggy, my husbands food was cold and the portion size for the price was subpar, my daughters brisket sandwich was so dry she couldn’t eat it. Our sides were less than appetizing. Our Mac and cheese tasted like it had been made days ago, and it was cold. The green beans and baked beans both tasted burnt, the hush puppies were the only thing that was worth eating. The servers all sat at a table talking while we all needed drinks. It was an empty space today. No one else was there. Overheard two servers talking to eachother and used the word sl*t, to one another. That’s super uncomfortable and unprofessional to say the least. I work food service and hospitality, and I expect to get decent service. Everything was subpar at best. We won’t be back.

Great local hometown bbq place. Family run. The entire staff was friendly and stopped at the table to talk. We got 2 of the “Hungry man”plates to share. The wings were perfect, ribs were cooked perfect, brisket was tender. All the side were fabulous! Will eat there again when we come back to the area.
