I liked it. They got me taken care of quickly for a to go order. I had to get back to teach a class. The cheese steak and fries I ordered were decent. Looked like a fun place. I wish I hadn’t been in a time crunch.

My coworker had been raving about this place for years and I finally went there with a group of family and friends for a night out for some drinks. We were there 5min and my friends wife pointed out a “NOOSE” hanging way above the door as you enter.. It extremely made all of us uncomfortable and we left because we would never think we would see something like that in 2023.. one of the ladies in our group talked to the waitress about it and she claimed she had no clue it was there and said she was “sorry if it offended us” and that she will inform someone about it to have it removed.. this was a few weeks ago and I bet it’s still there.

The bottle caps (fried jalapeños) are wonderful. We had chicken fried steak, mashed (real) potatoes and fried okra. Good food, great waitstaff and good atmosphere. Will be back again soon.

Food is amazing. Air conditioning was kicking! And overall it’s a great place to get a beer or mixed drink, some excellent sandwiches or burgers, and chillaxificate in some AC on a hot midday afternoon. Recommend!

The service and atmosphere are A-1. The food however could use some work. The boudain balls tasted off, like one of the ingredients had gone bad or something. And my Philly cheese steak needed seasoning. The bread was wonderfully toasted to perfection and it had the right amount of cheese and veggies. But the meat itself had zero flavor. I had to add some salt and pepper to give it a little flavor.

Food was terrible. The onion rings looked burnt and had a terrible breading on them. The oil in the fryer may have needed to be changed because it tasted like it. We will not be going back.

My husband and I eat there we usually rotate business on Tuesday’s during lunch. We waited while watching the cooks joke about scratching their heads into people’s food. Nevermind it took almost an hour for a hamburger steak and “lunch special” and had to request for the food to go. What we will not put up is the cooks saying “well don’t come back” as we walked out the door. Advice accepted. I feel sorry for the waitress though I know it wasn’t her fault.

We’ve been to this bar and restaurant several times in the past and have enjoyed our experience. Tonight was a different story. It started out good but went downhill from there. As we came back from getting our salads from the delicious salad bar another group sat down at the table behind us. As we waited for our meal they ordered and received their appetizers and their meal. We were still waiting. We finally got our dinner. They paid and left and we were still waiting for our bill. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she was very rude so I was rude back. She told me it was my fault the world was not nice. They said it under new management. That’s no excuse!!
