The manager can’t keep her personal life out of her professional life. The drinks are over priced and under sized. I’ve seen bigger specimen cups at a UA. The menu is limited, but seeing how the food sucks, a limited menu is a good thing. The pool tables have dead rails. This used to be my home away from home, but since reopening as Sam’s, the joint has gone downhill.

New ownership since the last time I was there. Same menu…ish. same layout, we will see if it has the same flavor in the future. As for the food, today was a bad one. The burger him was wet, and the club sandwich was a glorified ham sandwich. The service however was good.

First time stopping there. Food and service was pretty good. Had the Seafood platter and the Biker burger with salad which were good portions. Really like the people there, right up our ally. Looking forward to going there again!

This is the grittiest, diviest bar I have been to in Pierce County. Unlike the grit in many Olympia, Seattle, and Bellingham bars, there is no marketing scheme; Uncle Sam’s is a dive bar by necessity, not direction.

1/2 price burger Tuesday!! We had the Popper Burger (jalapeno, cream cheese, & bacon) and the Uncle Sam’s (mushrooms & onions) SO GOOD!!!

Rumors was great fun! We went to listen to the Billy Shew Band and had dinner. We had a blast dancing, making new friends, enjoying the musicianship. That band was fun and it was a treat to watch them all work!!!! Loved the saxaphone player and that really added to the music! We will go again!

Great little hole-in-the-wall bar. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and great prices. The owners are working hard to update the place and bring in new clientele. The intolerant attitude of the former Uncle Sam’s is gone and has been replaced with a welcoming and accepting atmosphere.
