The lady who helped us was very nice. I ordered the steak and salad bar for $10 plus it was additional for the drink. I went for lunch with a friend. You walk up to order, you get your own drink. No waitress to tip, at least at lunch, IDK about dinner. The salad was fine. I loved the steak. It came out up so you can put it in your salad. It was cooked perfectly and flavor was amazing. My friend said that every once in a while she will get a dry steak but she keeps coming back because she loves the food there.

My family and I ordered sirloin steaks, salad and baked potatoes. They were excellent. Cooked perfectly. All the food was great. Fast service and nice staff. Will definitely come back. Reasonably priced also. Calm, relaxing atmosphere. Come on in and try it.

Everything here is good. The meats are THE BEST and it is good to have REAL BBQ in Southwest Louisiana!!! There are other “BBQ” places, but much of their stuff is not truly barbecued and just has smokey flavor and sauce. The fries aren’t great, but they are super fresh. I was unimpressed with the macaroni and cheese at first, but then I added salt and started using it to enjoy bites of the meat with using the macaroni and cheese in between bites which gave it a great flavor. The desserts aren’t homemade, but they are still delicious!

Let’s talk about the food which is really why you even come to a bbq place right! It’s average bbq at best with average prices, ultimately a very forgettable experience. The brisket was moist and tender as well as the pulled pork, everything we had was cooked correctly and not dry with ample portions. However, all of the food was extremely bland and lacked much if any seasoning. They have a house BBQ sauce that in my opinion was ok, McDonald’s has better if that puts it in perspective. The cole slaw had zero seasonings or anything mixed in, Basically straight out of the bucket with a little salt. Okra was very good and cooked to perfection. Again it’s not bad food it just isn’t great by any means, the mediocre food make it not worth the hassle with better bbq less than half a mile away. I think with some clever restructuring in seating and some tweaks to the food they have the potential to be fantastic! Sadly I don’t see myself going back. Average food just won’t cut it in southwest Louisiana as we are a hard crowd to please. I hope they can make the nessesary changes to really wake this place up!

Oh dear!!! Hold on let me get another bite! Omg yes it’s that good. It’s a sirloin steak loaded baked potato kind of day. Loved my lunch so much I went back and got the 8oz sirloin and okra for dinner. Mouth gasm folks!
