My daughter and I shared a wonderful lunch on the rooftop of Rudys in the East Village. It was wonderful. The waitress was great, food was great, we both got street tacos! 100% yummy. There was a ball game going on across the street at the field, so it was nice to watch that! Great conversation. Highly recommend.

It was surprisingly busy on a Saturday afternoon, which was actually good, it set a good vibe. The staff were great, and the food was okay. My only comment is that the food is not authentic, and you do not get chips and salsa for the table.

Rudy’s Tacos is a Quad Cities institution, one that I enjoy more now that I’ve moved back to the area. When growing up, I don’t think I ever made it over to this location in the Village. Since I was already in the area on this particular night and wanted tacos, I decided this was the opportune time to stop in visit this Rudy’s.

If you’ve never had street tacos before, these are pretty good. Freshly prepared and nice and hot. This location also has some good hot sauces to use at the table.

We went there on a Saturday for dinner and I was completely underwhelmed. I ordered an enchilada dinner, which didn’t even come with rice and beans… so I had to order the next step up on the menu to get the rice and beans, which comes standard at any Mexican restaurant that is decent. They did not even provide a complimentary basket of chips and salsas for the table, again, like any decent Mexican restaurant would.

Not authentic Mexican food. It’s more like Mexican-themed food. Service is good and the atmosphere is fun. Overall, the food is pretty tasty. I come here several times a year.

I do like to support local businesses when I can and Rudy’s is local and that’s the good part of it. Food is bland and subpar honestly. Taco bell is better. At least the hot sauce there isn’t straight tomato juice. They ain’t even trying. That’s a pass. Sorry if you want my gard earned money y’all gotta step it up.

The best Rudys in Davenport. When i told them i was traveling over an hour away they offered to not heat them up so we didn’t have to heat it up twice!! Food was great as always

I gave Rudy’s a three star rating because the prices have gone up on the food but the toppings have gotten skimpy. I’ve gone to Rudy’s for years and whenever I get the tostados they are usually covered in cheese, which I love but lately there is very little cheese. Plus my soda cost $3.95. I think that is a ridiculous price for a fountain soda.

Loved our server, we sat out on the upstairs patio and enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was delicious as always. This is our favorite Rudy’s location in the Quad Cities area.
