We love this place! We have a vacation home in Cambria and when we head home always stop. Mexican food that is real and fresh

Just a little lunch spot in a shopping center but this place has the biggest tacos and they are LOADED! Their enchiladas are equally big and absolutely stuffed with cheese! Highly recommend!

I heard Spanish back in kitchen, so im wondering why it tasted like a middle aged white woman from Minnesota who thinks Mayo is a spice did the meat seasoning. The shrimp, shredded beef, and steak were all so bland. They put a ton of lettuce on the shrimp tacos to make them look full…but it didn’t really matter as their shrimp and lettuce tasted the same. Big portions. Friendly staff. Poor food.

Carpinteria classic Hangout. Said by many to be the best Mexican in town. Maybe so. Our fajitas were just so-so, though the tortillas were very large. Location is not very nice but when you’re eating I guess that doesn’t matter. Always busy!

I asked for dine in. Which I noticed comes served in real plates. I Received my food on a Styrofoam plate and in a bag. I repaeated that I was dining in. I was told yes you can sit down and eat. Never to return…

This is an original place. Get your burritos with meat, and it will taste like the real deal. If you want it spiced up, get your own salsa from the side table. Thumbs up!

Pretty good place to eat. Food came out quickly. People are friendly! Food is pretty good , not the best I’ve had but not bad either. Prices are reasonable. Would have liked to have complementary chips to go with salsa bar like you find at other Mexican restaurants like here. Definitely would eat here again, and I recommend checking them out if you are in the area.

Save your money and pop a can of beans at home!!! Trust me, it will be a better tasting meal and you won’t be paying ridiculous prices

The carnita torta was absolutely delicious. The carnitas were made well and not dry like some carnitas I have tasted. It was very well worth the 8.50. Very nice place and the workers are very polite. I highly recommend!
