I love Rudy’s. Great experience for me. My Air Force graduate friend from Jersey said that their chicken isn’t seasoned. I liked it, but I guess the East side likes more flavor? He does and I was trying to impress him by taking him here. He wasn’t impressed… unfortunately, so I guess season it more? 5 stars for me! Also, they only have brown paper bags if you want to take some to go and they only serve food on these sub sandwich type of wrapping so it was weird crumpling food up in a wrapper then putting it in a paper bag…

Rudy’s is an experience. The brisket and pretty much all the meats are amazing, as are the sides and deserts. When we moved away from San Antonio, we missed going here, so whenever we’re back in town, Rudy’s is top on the list!

A good experience overall. I’ll definitely go back, the staff was kind and food alright. Brisket was unfortunately dry and our order got pretty messed up but it happens. I highly recommend the peach cobbler and shredded meat.

Tonight we went to this Rudy’s location and I was so happy with my service. The crew behind the counter worked well together and were sincerely hospitable with every guest before and, a few I got to see, after me. My incentive in writing this review is because of my check-out employee, I believe her name is Jenny ( she’s new to SA from Minnesota) and how wonderful she was even though it was only her third day! During a crazy dinner rush, she held it together, communicated with me as a guest and worked well with her team! What a wonderful addition to the Rudy’s crew! My family and I absolutely love the food at Rudy’s and today was a first in a lasting impression of wonderful crew service! Keep up the great work! Oh and the banana pudding was the PERFECT touch to such a hot day!

This was very disappointing. Spent $25 and left without even eating it all. The brisket was not good at all. The pork ribs tasted odd and were hard. Sad when Bill Miller’s is better than the hype of this place. There is a tray of pickles and onions by the bathrooms sitting with no proper cooling or ice tray, flies everywhere. The only thing that was good was the free bread from a package that they give you.
