This was my 1st time visiting this location. I joined a lunch n learn real estate meeting hosted by local realty professionals in the DFW area. I had a nice sized hamburger, potato salad, and a dessert tasted good. The private room was just the right size to seat all the guests comfortably. Our servers were very polite and very patient as it took me some time to decide since I was still trying to hear the speaker.

My review is low due to the taste and quantity of the food. My opinion only, I’ve tasted better BBQ sandwiches and MUCH cheaper. Not worth the price. Just fyi, they DO NOT sell combo plates. EVERYTHING is priced separately.

This was my first time going to Rudy’s, and it was a pleasant visit. The guy that greeted us was super friendly and asked us if it was our first time visiting. He walked us through all of the steps of ordering, and we sampled some meat and then ordered. It is a picnic style concept which we really enjoyed. We didn’t try the desserts, but they looked delicious. We’ll return!

This was my second visit to Rudy’s, my first time to this location. Both visits have been good. From the small sample pool I have their meats are consistent and have a good flavor profile. I would give five stars, but if I take friends from out of state for a BBQ experience there are far better places, in my opinion. However you will pay more at those places. So for what you lose in flavor and tenderness you also pay more. Rudy’s is a good consistent place that will satiate your BBQ needs.

Me and my sister Drove together over 35 minutes to the location to purchase meats for the sides we were making due to a relative coming into town last minute, the baby back ribs that was given to us was bones no meat on them , the brisket was thrown together included more fat than meat, sausage was not even coined cut after spending 60-70 . We asked for a foil pan for the pounds of meat we ordered,when we saw the person in front of us get a foil pan when she did not even order as much as us, a rude guy with alot of piercings at the window told us we could not even get one! The Mgr on duty (which was rude as well) finally gave us one after we even stated we would purchase it.

Placed a really big order over the phone and asked if I could pick up in the drive thru. Sure, no problem. Got to the window quick. Order was ready when promised. Two large drinks were tied up in plastic bags and in a carrier as to not spill. I received my large order and pulled over in the parking lot to double check it. Ugh, I just can’t do it. Too much to go thru in the car. I decided to make the ever hopeful decision to take a chance my order was correct and just go home. Not only was it correct. Rudy’s knocked it out of the park! Every side was packed and wrapped in foil as to not leak. Every meat was wrapped in paper and marked what it was. Sauce was in the bag as were onions, peppers and pickles. The food was hot and delicious! Shannon, one of the managers does a great job! She always takes care of her customers and the staff is always very friendly! Way to go Rudy’s!

Gotta admit that the brisket and turkey combo sandwich was well worth lunch here, especially topped with Rudy’s bbq sauce. For us truckers, there’s bobtail parking for about 3. The atmosphere and setting like being in a barn gave it a great vibe to dine in. On another note, the banana pudding can use some help. Wonder how Rosemarie enjoyed it???
