Extremely disappointed with the $8.49 bean and cheese burrito. My wife and eat here frequently and I have to say we are usually not thrilled with the service, the food is usually pretty good. Today we were excited to try the bean and cheese burrito since we love rubios beans so much. My wife and I each had one and I got a carnitas taco too. Both burritos were small and barely filled. My wife was super dissatisfied with the size of hers and I was too actually. For $30 (with tip) we received two bean and cheese burrito and the taco pictured. Super overpriced and the portion was horrible for the price. My wife and I both left still hungry. I will be saving my money from now on and going elsewhere.

I love Rubios but cant have the beer battered fish tacos due to its ingredients. Please use non-beer (non-alcoholic) batter. Considering that the food here is healthy, using alcoholic batter may not be the best choice.

It’s your quintessential go-to spot for a quick (fast-food healthy) meal. In this case, it was just some tasty tacos.

I don’t understand the point in sending multiple complimentary cards to your customers when the order is inedible or incorrect. No expiration dates or limit restrictions on the card. Then when you try to use them, they limit how many can be used. If there is a limit put it on the card. Two per one order or be specific. If it doesn’t say it on the card I should be allowed to use the 3 that I had.

Even though it’s a chain, the food is nice and fresh. I just get the steak tacos with rice and beans. Makes for a fresh, easy, and a great meal. Not too expensive so you can come with an appetite lol the steak is always fresh tasting and cooked usually medium. Not like some places where the steak is dried and hard!

I have been going to this restaurant from the very beginning. When Ralph owned it they had a good menu and since it was sold too big corporate, they have buried it! The only thing good anymore is the sauces. They don’t even give you beans and maybe a sample of rice with the meals. I used to always order the shrimp burrito with fish taco and the burrito now has four pieces of shrimp total. The fish taco has a piece of fish that looks like a carrot stick. Skimpy portions, reduced quantities will end this company. Spending almost $50 for these few plates doesn’t make sense anymore. I would rather go to Mr Taco or anywhere they know how to make a quesadilla.

Our California Bowl and quesadillas were great. Service was slow – they appeared to be understaffed. Had to wait for napkins. The patio needs some more umbrellas badly.

Ordered a classic shrimp burrito with green salsa instead of the red, girl at the counter was condescendingly explaining to me what the red one is. I still asked for green. Even heard her yell back to the cooks if they put it in. When I get the order there’s 6 green salsas in the bag I handed them back and asked if they had put in the burrito she says no and tells me she can take it to the bag to add it. I just take the food. I also ordered a glass coke to which the counter girl handed me the bottle opener and tells me to open it. Lol the fact that she had no customer service was so bad. But the whole staff looked young. I could hear them laughing and joking around in the back. And yes my food was cold to the touch as well. Could’ve at least microwaved it.

This is hands-down the best Rubios I’ve been to in a while. Food was delicious and service was good too… Can’t say that for all the locations.
