Horrible experience! We started to come to this location after having uncooked rice at the Rubios off Ray. We told our friends to come to this one because we had 1 good experience months ago. When they came it was horrible & the last 2 times we’ve been here it’s been BAD. Today my husband & I ordered 2 original Fish Taco plates 1 med drink, a small side of guac & white sauce our total was $31.47, I get it “inflation” but when we got our tacos the pieces of fish were the smallest things ever also our guac was brown. I never go up & complain anywhere but I had to it was laughable. When I brought the plate up & asked the girl if this is a normal portion of food she replied “umm I don’t really know” then the cook came up & said that it is & that the fish was just shriveled up, I said alright & walked away. They clearly didn’t care!! No other customers in the restaurant either. Another girl walked in & had to ask someone scraping the grill if anyone was working up in the front they were all hanging in the back, what the heck. Do better Rubios!!

This place has gone down hill. Higher prices and reduced quality and quantity of food. This is not a good business model. I really hope they turn it around because rubios used to be amazing. I got the fish tacos and the piece of fish was so small that half of the taco was tortilla. Then when I got to the fish it was mostly breading. The guacamole was brown too.

I’ve never had an issue at this Rubio’s until tonight. Often times we order to go and when I go in at my pickup time the order is ready.

For food court food, it sure took a long time to get our meal. I used to love Rubio’s, but it’s not worth the 45 minute wait. When we finally got our order, it wasn’t even hot anymore.

This food is really good. The menu is pretty expansive, but I like the original fish taco. The batter, fish, and spices make for a truly delicious fish taco. Not into tacos there are plenty of other food options. Dont forget the salsa bar, WOW.. give it a try.

Food is always great, Rubio’s has been our favorite for 23 years. We had a gift certificate but could not get it to work. Rubio’s needs to make using these simpler. Our children always buy us these certs and we do not want to hurt their feelings by telling them that they don’t work. We had to pay cash since the cert does not work.

Tried Rubio’s for the first time today and it’ll be my last. It’s absolutely TERRIBLE, got a chicken bowl for pick up, lid wasn’t secured so everything was slopped around in the bag. Chicken was black and there was about 4 little diced pieces. The rest was just a pile of white rice. Grabbed some salsa from the bar before I left and it looked so bad I didn’t even want to risk trying anything.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant. The food is decent, but the amount and quality is a little lacking for the cost.

I visit Rubio’s several time, especially during Lent and I am always satisfied with the quality of the food, but last night I ordered 2 plates of Fish Taco Especial at 6:08 PM, my order was not completed until 6:40PM, and it seemed the restaurant wasn’t overly busy, but all orders seemed to be taking a very long time. About 5 other customers were waiting in my same situation apparently, and a patient couple that had been waiting for longer than I had been were approached by the manager, and were informed that their order was almost done. The Manager offered them some free chip and guac and a coupon for free food items on their next visit. Their order arrived and it was simply two plates of tacos for the couple, and this seemed to take this location 45+ minutes to generate. There were at least 8 employees in the kitchen and registers but it seemed to be chaotic and slow. I nearly started to warn entering customers of the long wait times, but I held my breath. I just think this team/location needs to work on efficiency, I’m not expecting Chipotle speed but, I do expect Fast Casual (not 30 minute waits). When I got home with my tacos, they had also forgotten to put limes in the TOGO containers, which is usually standard. Please improve the speed!
