This place was alright, got the small jerk chicken with rice & beans with fried plantains. The chicken was a little dry but the plantains were pretty good. The portions are pretty big, especially since I got the small.

The owners are very nice, the food is ok however I give it 2 stars because if you have ever been to Brooklyn or are from Trinidad, Jamaica or any West Indian country you will be disappointed by the food. The portions are small, the rice and beans is Spanish rice and beans, it’s not peas and rice with allspice and thyme sprig which is what I expected, the cabbage is very salty and over seasoned, the oxtail portion for a large plate is small was only 4 pieces and has a strong cinnamon smell to it and I don’t think they do an oil and brown sugar sear prior to stewing it because the meat didn’t resemble the way my inlaws make it or the restaurants up north. The rum cake is overpoweringly strong, it smells like straight rum and all you can taste liquor there’s no happy medium, if you’re looking to get wasted off dessert then get it otherwise avoid it, it gives you heartburn and a head rush. The plantains are very good though! I was very disappointed to see the veggie plate was a tiny portion of cabbage and a huge amount of rice and 3 plantain where’s the veggies?!. The other thing I don’t like is that they add an automatic tip to your billl without you knowing. They’re a walk in take out restaurant I’ve never had to pay a mandatory tip for a restaurant where everything’s already cooked and they make your plate in minutes. They’re food is overpriced for what they offer, you’re not getting your money’s worth and if you’ve never had real West Indian food or Jamaican yard food dont think this is how it tastes. This is what I got 2 plates and and 2 pieces of cake for 40 dollars

great beans, great rice, great curry chicken, and very generous portion size. A very warm welcoming restaurant to go to as the owners are so friendly and grateful.

A little tucked away Restaurant in a strip mall with a cool vibe & authentic menu based on a fusion of recipes from the Caribbean Islands! My husband & I tried oxtail, curry chicken & curry goat .. as well as mac n chz, cabbage & plantains. The Oxtails definitely were my favorite! We shared a Coco Bread & tried a couple of authentic Caribbean sodas which were super tasty. It wasn’t all that busy when we went so we were able to chat with one of the owners, Ra, and he made us feel right at home. He even gifted us a beef patty to try – very good and incredibly nice of him! He told us about his family’s origin in the islands and explained the background of his menu and how its a fusion of Carribean recipes with some deep rooted Spanish influence. We enjoyed our first R&R Caribbean Fusion experience today and will definitely return again!

A taste of home. While they don’t have a lot of trini delicacy they did have some great curry chicken. Great if you like Jamaican and West Indian cuisine. Please please please sell roti and doubles.
