Royalty Food for Soul is a nice little restaurant that serves a variety of food for take out including fried chicken, Hamburgers and Hot dogs, Shrimp, Mac and cheese and much more. They are takeout only and you can order inside and wait but it’s easier to call ahead for pick up. During certain days of the week they have great lunch and dinner specials and their Friday fish fry plates are really good. The restaurant is located on Main Street in downtown Sodus and parking can be tricky but there is street parking and other places to park within a walking distance. The inside is still under small renovation but it looks great and the vibe is cool and casual with nice lighting and good views of the street. The people here were very friendly and hospitable and the food was outstanding! The price on food and drinks were pretty good and this seems like one of the cheapest in the area for good comfort food. I will definitely be ordering again very soon.

First time trying this place I had cheeseburger and fries, price was awesome, a little to salty for my taste, next time I’ll ask for no salt, I did go back again for chicken tenders and fries, great, tender, juicy, plenty of food, again cost was awesome. Service was fast, going to be my go to place.

I have been coming to this place a few times in the last few months. It’s a gem for the village. The oxtail with rice and beans is usually my go-to on friday, curry chicken is outstanding, and the fried chicken sandwich is crispy on the outside juicy inside ( have it with pickles ), I’d put it up against anything from chick-fil-a or Popeye’s it’s that good. The Saturday BBQ dinners are great, but run out quick if you wait too long. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Pepper steak was DELICIOUS! Also ordered a slice of red velvet cake and it looks fabulous! Nice staff and space was very clean. Love support a new local business…it was easy to get to after working the morning out of the Sodus Community Library.
