We had to wait a little for seats since we did not make a reservation. However, when we walked in, an older gentleman staff member made our daughter a balloon animal, and she loved it. Most importantly, the food and service were fantastic.

Best Japanese Cuisine in Central Wisconsin! Overall great experience. The waitress was very nice and the chef was a thrill! My guests were treated with comfort and care and the food really hit the spot. Definitely some new culture in the area but a good touch! Will come back again! Thanks!

Royal Tokyo is the most impressive place in town. Food is great and the chefs are very nice and friendly! Would recommend to anyone going on a date, catching up with friends, or going out as a family. Tables would fit 8 comfortably as a maximum party size.

Food is good. Hostess is very rude and yelled at us over the phone and in person. Told us we couldn’t get meals but charged us $42 for this.

I went to Royal Tokoyo tonight and was not impressed. I had an entire glass of water spilled over me and got me completely soaked. I sat there for 2 hours through the entire meal wet. When it came to the bill they charged me full price. Then I asked for an adjustment and only took OFF 3$ for my soda. NOT HAPPY!!!

We used to love this place but last night was horrible. There was so much tension and anger between the owner and the chef. They were literally arguing in front of us. The food was great but the chef purposely took his time and cook each of our meals separately instead of together. He even forgot someone’s steak and they asked to have it removed from their bill and the owner didn’t want to at first. 2 1/2 hours later we were finally done and it wasn’t even busy. It was not a fun experience.
