If you are looking for a fine Thai food in big bear, you can try this out for sure! We ordered Tom kha hotpot (could improve on taste as our order was a bit tangy), chicken satay, pad kee mao was delicious, the spring rolls, chicken fried rice and royal fried rice was fine (it contained pineapple). They provide you some spices to add if asked. The chef can make the fried rice yummy through addition of flavors and cooking the rice in the sauces for a bit. The staff is quite friendly and responsive. Clean place with clean restrooms. Good affordable Thai food available here. Would recommend for you try it!

The curry was fine.

First time visiting. I wasn’t too sure what to expect because of the previous bad reviews that I’ve read. Went on a Saturday night. Not too crowded. As soon as we walked in the customer service kicked in immediately. We were seated and our kids water cups came out right after. Highly impressed with their customer service here and the kids loved their shrimp pad Thai and shrimp fried rice. Will definitely return and I highly recommend.

I recently visited a Royal thai for lunch and had some delicious tom yum soup and vegetable fried rice. The soup had a wonderful flavor, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the fried rice was flavorful and satisfying. The service was outstanding as well and the staff was always friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for some good Thai food. 4 stars!

We love the food here. Veg fried rice is the favorite due to bit of Indian touch

Despite what some people here say about this being not a legit thai place, we were pretty happy with what we got. We get thai food quite a lot and this was no different. If anything, the flavors were pretty good and the portions are great!

I like this place and recommend it! I came here twice in one week and everyone in our group loved the food. Good food, price, and service. The food is yummy and seasoned very well. It may not be the most authentic Thai food ( it leans a bit Indian), but the cooking methods are excellent! The only dish I would not recommend are the spring rolls, but everything else was delicious: shrimp fried rice, shrimp tempura, chicken satay, Tom yum, panang curry, and tofu Thai basil stir fry.

First let me say the green curry was delicious yet server was basically one visit and gone. And the lack of cleanliness seems to be a common theme in Big bear restaurants. The entire front of this place is a window….and it looks as if it was last cleaned months ago with a dirty rag. Table was sticky. The lids on the little sauce tray they set on my table were caked with goo. For goodness sake, throw them in the dishwasher every week. It’s hard to give a place an outstanding review if they don’t take care of the simple things like front of the house cleanliness.

Not authentic Thai Food at all. So if you go in thinking this will be Thai then it isn’t. That being said the guy who attended us wasn’t polite and very distracted. We told him it was our first time here hoping he would help us with food selection but instead he just kept pointing at the menu and taking it out of our hands. Food wasn’t great the soup we ordered wasn’t what we expected the pad Thai noodles we got where also very greasy and just not good at all. Won’t be coming back here again as the food was disappointing and the server was just straight up rude to us. Also overheard another customer who was upset at their service as well.

Probably the worst Thai place I’ve ever been to. Please trust the other reviews and don’t waste your money coming here if you want to eat legit thai food. We got the Tom Yum soup (hotpot), which was literally just hot water and tomato sauce – disgusting! We also got curry and calamari, which just taste like heated frozen food. The only food that we probably like and saved this place was the broccoli stir fry, that was actually edible! The service was also really terrible. The waiters were rude and took our condiments/sauce (which we were using) to give to a new table, like why? They also were always distracted and wouldnt want to talk to you. Funny enough though, the people eating were nice, which we liked. Unfortunately tho, the food and service was just terrible. We don’t think we’ll come back here again.
