This was our first time and we loved it! We ordered thr Krappy Fries and Bacon Jam Burger. We were blown away! Service was great and fast. Definitly will be back.

Let me just say, the food is delicious. This review is regarding customer service. I placed my order over the phone and was told that my order would be ready in 25 minutes. I ordered the chicken plate and a side of pasta. I waited the full 25 minutes before I walked up to the building, I waited another 10 minutes in line and when I got to the window the young lady told me that the chicken was not ready. I asked if I could just get a plate of pasta instead. She then told me that the pasta was not ready either and that it would be another 10 minutes. So in total, I would’ve waited 45 minutes for a plate that they told me was going to be ready in 25 minutes. I chose this place because the food is delicious and they are black owned, but the customer service is not delightful. There was no apology and I did not get my food because I left because of the wait time. If I were told that my food was going to take 40 minutes or longer then I would have placed another order somewhere else. Another reason why I chose this place is because I work downtown so I thought it would be easy to grab something to eat and still get back to work on time. I wouldn’t say not to try them, but definitely be prepared to wait because your food may or may not be ready at the time they told you it would be. I honestly wouldn’t have wrote this review if the young lady would’ve just said, I apologize it’s taking a little longer than expected. There was no kind of apology. If she would have some something, I probably would have waited because a person’s attitude and actions can change the situation. Stuff happens, yes I know, but I believe they need to train the young lady at the window or either replace her with someone with a more caring personality. Customer service is what keeps people coming back.

If you haven’t tried these guys yet, you definitely need to! Had lunch there today. Ordered the Crawfish grilled cheese and some Chicken Alfredo egg rolls. The flavors were truly fantastic and came together quite well. Nice people with really good food!

I’ve tried several dishes from Royal Spices all of them were delicious but the birria tacos are my absolute favorite!!! The salmon is top tier as well. The service has been consistently pleasant since their grand opening

I hired Royal Spices for my daughter’s wedding. I ordered hors d’oeuvres to serve when we were taking pictures so the guests wouldn’t be starving waiting on us. She arrived late, 20 minutes prior to dinner and was rude when I called to ask her about the delay at 4. She did not bring the wedding serving dishes i specifically requested. Instead she brought the cheap serving dishes with foil inserts. I paid an additional fee for 2 servers to ensure the guests only chose one main course meat but she gave everyone both meats. I also paid for juice for 100 people which she only brought 2 small containers and once that ran out there was no more juice. I didn’t really get a chance to eat the food but only a few people had complaints. I was disappointed with her timeline, the servers, the fact only 60 people attended and there was not any left overs, the serving dishes, and the lack of drinks she provided. Lack of communication was a problem as well.

Royal Spices quite possibly serves the best food in our entire area. Brittney and her team are able to serve the highest of quality food from a building that’s nothing more than a kitchen. I’m constantly impressed by the food and the experiences her and her team create for our area. She began in a food truck and has evolved into a “must try” restaurant. We are blessed to have her in the Hattiesburg area and I cannot wait to see her continue to grow.
