Great experience. I used to think that Firehouse Subs had the best and freshest subs, but Royal knocks Firehouse down to a good second in my opinion. The sandwiches are so FRESH and DELICIOUS!!! The parking is bad and the location is not the best, but the food more than makes up for it. Customer Service is excellent. NO COMPLAINTS FROM ME and I have been known to be hard to please.

Wow! After the terrible experiences I had with the Royals on Okeechobee Blvd, I decided to go back to the original on 45th St. I’m so glad I did. The owner was awesome, and my sub was even better. I will definitely travel the extra miles for this A+ establishment.

Without revealing my age , I use to go here for lunch when I attended North Shore High School. I immediately got nostalgic when I went there on Monday to get a sub. We just went on a whim to grab something quick. The place still looks the same and the subs are still made the same way. It was fantastic, fixed to perfection! The bread was soft, the meat and cheese was fresh, just overall amazing. It’s good to know, that not everything changes, which probably explains why they’ve been in business for so long lol. The same great service with a smile. I won’t stray away from them again

Augh! I love this sandwich spot. So good. Very friendly staff and everyone seems happy to be looking forward to their delicious sub. Really nowhere to sit and eat – more of just a grab and go. Great prices though.

This sub shop reminds me of a defunct sub shop from back home (it was my favorite). Nothing fancy inside, good toppings and bread. But their Italian sub isn’t legit. Salami and ham?! I mean come. on. man.
