Best pizza shop in town in my opinion. They just opened and aren’t fully staffed yet. So those of you complaining about the wait time need to chill out and stop being Karen’s. The pizza is fantastic! Great NY style pizza with nice crispy crust. I come here 2-3 times a week because it’s close, convenient, and they have great prices. I’ve yet to not enjoy a meal here. Everyone is so welcoming there and make you feel like family. I can’t wait to see their future success!

We were attracted to Royal Pizza & Seafood by their online menu and word-of-mouth recommendations. The experience was less than encouraging. The hostess was pleasant and very helpful. But the food preparation is slow; I’m guessing they only have one person working the kitchen. We saw one group where some people got and consumed their meal before others in the group even got their food. And this was the only group (4 people) dining in the entire place. The layout of the place says that they don’t expect to attract much business; only a small number of tables laid out in a strange and rather cramped way around an empty bar area that is almost too big for the number of potential customers if they were ever able to attract them. We had stopped in for a takeout order and had to wait quite a while. The food was only OK. We are unlikely to go back there again.

In fairness, we did not actually try any of their food. Went to order online and at checkout I was a bit sticker shocked. Lot of fee’s tacked on at checkout. Just for the heck of it I duplicated the order from Rocco’s online and it came out to be $15 less. This is on a $50 order, that’s 30% high. I won’t even entertain trying this place until prices are corrected. A seafood platter from Royal is $31 before all of their weird fee’s. You can get a seafood platter at Surf for $35 and you know Surf’s is going to destroy Royals in every way.

Don’t waste your time. I’ve been here 2 times and I’m done. Food is inconsistent at best. There are plenty of other places to go. The atmosphere just doesn’t even make sense to me. There are only about 10 tables but there’s a huge bar in the middle with a lot of wasted space there. They don’t have a license to sell liquor yet. They are cheap about almost everything. I asked for a few slices of lemon for my overcooked haddock and they gave me 1 very slim slice. I don’t expect this place will last long.

First time tonight and we ordered a variety of items to try-all delicious!!! Good portions and very tasty. Pizza sauce is on the sweeter side(my favorite) for those that prefer a more traditional Italian sauce. Fried seafood platter is delicious and will give me another meal tomorrow. We will def be making this our new close to home seafood spot!

It was our first time eating here. We ordered a variety of food to try so we could see what we liked, and we loved everything! The service was excellent, the staff was kind and the online ordering & pick up process was also incredibly user friendly. Definitely found our new go to pizza place!
